Guests were invited to write messages to the couple and hang them by the attached ribbon to the wish tree. The potted Manzanita branches and hanging crystals provided more décor than a guestbook could have.

Vanda orchids, sweet peas, and fiddlehead ferns seemed to pop out of a vase filled with strawberries. Garlands of roses, dahlias, cockscombs, scabiosas, and hydrangeas encircled the bright arrangement adding even more color.

A few weeks before the wedding, the couple decided to serve churros instead of a traditional cake. Jennifer & Mark in Livermore, CA

Once they did, they learned that they were both from Palmdale, a small town in Southern California, and had friends in common. The Bride Jennifer Duran, co-owner of a semi-conductor manufacturing equipment company The Groom Mark Carrell, co-owner of a semi-conductor manufacturing equipment company The Date July 19 A few years into their relationship, Mark realized Jennifer was the girl he wanted to marry. What did it take? She didn't complain while they hiked beside the Golden Gate Bridge in cold, rainy weather. Still, Mark waited another five years to propose, but he chose to reenact the day he came to his realization. The weather cooperated too: It was cold and rainy again. This time, though, there was a table, chairs and champagne waiting for the couple when they reached the top of the hill. Mark popped the bubbly, and then popped the question. A few days later, the couple reserved one of only two days open at the vineyard down the block from their home. Vibrant colors and Juicy Couture, the bride’s favorite fashion line, inspired the summer soiree.
