When Kim found her dream bouquet in a magazine, she hired the same florist to re-create it for her. The arrangement was filled with pink and cream roses and wrapped with a white ribbon.

Kim donned a strapless Melissa Sweet gown with ruching on the bodice and an asymmetrical trumpet skirt. She wore a shoulder-length veil and kept her hair back in a low romantic bun.

The escort cards were actually small, dried starfish tied with calligraphed white tags. The starfish were placed into a large box filled with beach sand surrounded by lush white floral arrangements.

The couple showcased their starfish motif and an aqua and teal color scheme with a handmade sign directing guests to the reception location.

Kim and Jim's florist used five small centerpieces featuring round blue vases and white flowers, which surrounded a large clear hurricane filled with aqua-tinted rocks and a large candle.

To fit with their color palette and theme, the couple decided to serve red velvet cupcakes covered with white, chocolate, and aqua frosting and topped with a starfish-shaped candy.

Kim and Jim shared their first dance to David Gray's "Be Mine." Immediately following, the band broke out into "Save the Last Dance" to get everyone out on the floor.

Jim presented a proposal to his girlfriend Kim that could have come straight out of a romantic movie. The Bride James (Jim) Gavin, 33, firefighter The Groom Kimberly (Kim) Wisniski, 34, medical sales rep The Date September 15 While the couple was in Venice, Italy, on one of Kim's business trips, Jim got down on one knee just before dinner as the sun was setting in the middle of the Piazza San Marco. Afterward, the couple celebrated right there in the piazza with champagne and fruit. Since Kim had grown up in the Hamptons, Water Mill was the perfect place for their outdoor wedding. The pair chose a large house as their site and invited their closest friends and family to join them for a destination wedding weekend near the water.
