Kim & Steve in New York, NY

Kim admits she broke a "dating rule" when she called Steve first, but it was clear early on in their relationship that they were meant for each other. The Bride Kim Smarsh, 30, event managment director The Groom Steve Roberts, 33, technology manager The Date November 2 One day, Kim met up with Steve at work on the 45th floor of a building downtown. As they were admiring the view, Steve asked Kim whether she wanted some candy Dots (her favorite). When she declined, Steve countered by presenting her with a bouquet of flowers. He then sweetened the offer when he cued music on his iPod and proposed. Afterward, the couple went on a tour of the city together, ending the evening with a private dinner prepared at home by a professional chef.
