Large, grass-filled pots adorned the ceremony space. The terra cotta pots were painted gold, filled with bunches of faux grass, and tied off by a gold silk ribbon.

The ceremony programs, which coordinated with the invitations, were printed in a gold font on ivory paper and then rolled up and tied off with a silk gold ribbon.

The reception tent was decorated with elegant fabric which created a sophisticated look. The couple also added drapery panels to form an entrance, and used the same fabric for table overlays. Curly willow, hanging votives, and a chandelier finished off the look.

The room was awash with golden accents -- gold chargers and gold-rimmed ivory dishes were set atop tables while gold chiavari chairs finished off the look.

Krista and Brian treated their guests to a large dessert bar, which included indulgences like homemade marshmallows, truffles, and caramel cookies.

Krista and Brian’s first dance was to their favorite song, “I’m on Nights” by UK artist Richard Hawley.

Krista and Brian’s all-white cake was decorated with a cascade of fresh, white orchids. Inside, the vanilla cake was filled with fresh preserves and berries, and whipped creme fraiche.

As favors, the couple’s cake baker made cake truffles. The sweets were placed in brown boxes, tied with a gold silk ribbon, and finished off with the couple’s wedding seahorse crest.

After having met on the Internet and being email pals for a couple of years, Krista and Brian coincidentally ended up working in the same office building -- and so their romance began. The Bride Krista Kenner, 28, marketing consultant and jewelry designer The Groom Brian Lodis, 30, graphic designer The Date July 21 One year after their first date, Brian planned a proposal for Krista while the two were vacationing in New York City. After enjoying a nice dinner, the couple returned to their hotel and a nervous Brian surprised Krista with a ring.
