Lauren and Cole have known each other their whole lives. As a matter of fact, their save-the-date is a picture of them playing at Lauren's birthday party when they were only two-years-old. Though, they were best friends throughout high school and college, the timing was never right for romance. That is, until senior year when Cole asked Lauren out for Valentine's Day and she returned the favor by asking him to her sorority's formal. The Bride Lauren Thomas, 25, real estate finance assistant The Groom William (Cole) Bredthauer, 25, lawyer The Date August 25 But all along they knew they were meant to be -- at least Cole did. He bragged to his friends, freshman year that he was going to marry Lauren. A story one of his groomsmen gladly shared at their rehearsal dinner.
