Guests indulged in a four-tiered, milk chocolate ganache-frosted cake decorated with a pink dot motif and pink ribbons. The alternating layers of white and chocolate cake were filled with strawberry mousse, Chantilly cream, and fresh strawberries. The confection was topped with a cluster of pink roses.

The natural elegance of the cathedral-style ceiling and wooden arches at Glen Oaks needed little decoration. White tablecloths and chair covers accented with black sashes brightened up the space, while pink accents added a touch of color and tealights brought a glow to the room.

Lauren and Jeff met when Lauren began a summer internship at Jeff’s company. Everything stayed professional until the last day of Lauren’s internship when she and Jeff decided to grab dinner as friends. They hit it off immediately, and their first official date was spent getting to know each other at Metro Beach and then enjoying a romantic dinner at The Beach Grill in St. Clair Shores. When Lauren returned to Central Michigan University to finish her last two years of college, they began a long-distance relationship.
