Lauren and Josh's huppah was made from four talit (Jewish prayer shawls) -- belonging to the groom, his father and grandfather, and Lauren's father. They were tied to four birch poles, each held by the couple's close friends, who carried the huppah down the aisle together.

The mother of the groom created the escort cards, which were accented with lavender and raffia. Guests picked them up from a table adorned with vases of lavender, pomegranates, sunflowers, topiaries, and lanterns.

Lauren and Josh shared their first dance to Tom Waits' "Jersey Girl" -- not just because the bride is from New Jersey but also because the groom is a huge Tom Waits fan.

"I don't think I was expecting to meet my true love online," says Lauren. Josh says he also "had always been a skeptic when it came to online dating" but still gave it a try. Their online profiles were short-lived, as the two soon found each other. The Bride Lauren Wolkoff, 31, executive editor The Groom Josh Nanberg, 33, political director of a nonprofit The Date October 7 Three years later, Lauren and Josh went into New York City. While walking, they wound up outside Ferrara's Italian Bakery in Little Italy -- the same spot where Josh had first told Lauren he loved her three years earlier and, now, where he would propose to her. After a few false starts, the couple's wedding plans finally came together for an outdoor wedding celebration outside Philadelphia.
