At first, Leslie was intimidated by the flirtatious guy, Gary, who ran training sessions at her company. She eventually agreed to have coffee with him, which led to lunch and, in time, a first date. Gary really sealed the deal when they shared their first kiss. "I almost fell over; it was so amazing," says Leslie. Eventually, the couple started talking about marriage. While walking around downtown La Jolla, Gary urged Leslie to try on some rings as they passed by a jewelry store. Just a few weeks later, Gary bought her one of those rings and the couple was officially engaged.
