Liz & Jason in Block Island, RI

Liz King and Jason Doyle first met at Murphy’s Bar in New York City. Years later, while both were standing in the house they had just closed on, Jason asked Liz to marry him, and the two soon began planning a traditional New England-style wedding. The Bride Elizabeth King, 32, marketing manager The Groom Jason Doyle, 32, managing partner at a recruiting firm The Date June 9 Though Liz and Jason initially looked in Connecticut to have their wedding, Liz says the two soon set their sights on Block Island. The seaside New England ambience became a major theme for the entire wedding, with location-inspired details making up the wedding style. A subtle blue and brown palette -- perfect for a wedding by the water -- tied it all together.
