In lieu of ceremony programs, cards printed with a message thanking guests for supporting the couple throughout both their lives and relationship hung from each ceremony chair. The brown ribbon and lime green logo were all the sprucing up the chairs needed.

The simple arrangement of lime and cream hydrangeas didn't detract from the brown and cream printed fabric that wrapped the container. Votives added a romantic glow to the modern centerpiece.

The bold font and delicate floral graphic that appeared on the other wedding stationery also decorated the menu cards. They detailed the options, including tasty fish and fried chicken tacos and signature margaritas from their restaurant caterer, Taqueria Del Sol. To go along with their non-traditional wedding (and because Marshall's not much of a cake-eater), the couple decided to serve vanilla, chocolate, and Key lime cupcakes. The tiered display was just as dramatic as any multi-layer cake.

After a co-worker of Lori started dating a co-worker of Marshall, the new couple realized their friends would make a good pair. Lori and Marshall refused to be set up at first, but finally agreed to meet for drinks. "They were right to set us up," says Marshall. A week later, Lori and Marshall set up their own date, and they've been together ever since. The Bride Lori Jordan, 33, high school guidance counselor The Groom Marshall Jones, 29, graphic designer The Date October 18 The next summer, while the couple was vacationing in Belgium, Lori went to put on her everyday jewelry that she left on the hotel dresser. She was shocked to find a diamond engagement ring in its place. The two began planning their October wedding immediately but with only three months to plan, it was hard to find an available venue they loved. Marshall suggested they host the wedding in their backyard and Lori loved the idea. With help from a wedding planner, they pulled off their self-described "non-traditional" wedding with a lime and chocolate color scheme.
