The pink and white programs used the same swirl design that adorned the invites. Michele and Jeff used the programs to explain the Christian and Jewish traditions that the couple had included in the wedding ceremony.

Since Michele is Jewish and Jeff is Christian, the two incorporated elements of each tradition into their ceremony. They exchanged a combination of Christian and Jewish vows (including traditional Hebrew), wed beneath a huppah, and stepped on a glass at the end of the ceremony.

The escort cards -- which also incorporated the pink swirl motif -- were displayed on a table that included a dramatic centerpiece composed of six-foot-tall flowering dogwood branches, along with peonies and hydrangeas.

“The ceremony was all white and light pinks -- peaceful and serene,” Michele says. “We wanted to spice things up for the reception.” The couple did just that with black table linens, silver chargers, and eye-catching pink and green centerpieces.

The couple’s first dance was to “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper.

The four-tiered square cake was covered in white buttercream and included the pink swirl design found on the stationery. The cake was also decorated with edible white pearls and white and green flowers and was displayed on a silver cake stand.

Michele and Jeff's romance began in an office environment, so it’s only fitting that their proposal followed suit. The couple met while working in sales for the same company and became close friends for a few years before their first official date -- to a Fleetwood Mac concert in Atlanta. The Bride Michele Beitchman, 27 The Groom Jeffrey (Jeff) Lutz, 30 The Date April 7 One day, Michele had traveled to a client’s office for a meeting, and everything was business as usual until the client excused herself. “Two minutes after she left, Jeff walked in,” Michele says, “and pulled out the most beautiful ring and asked me to marry him.” Jeff then pulled a dozen hot pink roses from a cabinet in the conference room, and later the two celebrated with dinner at their favorite seafood restaurant.
