Betsy and David bonded over their shared love of nature, so it was only fitting that he chose the pristine snow-covered trails of Snowmass to propose to her eight months after they first met. The Bride Betsy Biorn, 34, software sales
The Groom Friedersdorf, 44, healthcare IT consultant
The Date June 21
The couple married five months later with the help of the bride’s mother and a wedding coordinator. The central location (their families lived on the East and West Coast) and proximity to the couple’s Denver home made Snowmass Village the perfect choice. Betsy wanted a simple but elegant style with natural elements, like hanging birch branches green aspens, curly willows and ferns, woven in.
