Every time Nicole Condrick and Tyler West went out with their group of friends, they’d end up spending the whole time chatting only with each other. There was just one problem -- Nicole was dating one of Tyler’s friends at the time. Eventually, Nicole broke up with the friend and asked Tyler on a date. The Bride Nicole Condrick, 27, operations manager for a video game company The Groom Tyler West, 27, concept artist The Date July 12 Five years later, when he’d decided to propose, Tyler cleverly disguised a trip to Hawaii as a visit to Nicole’s great aunt and uncle. The plan worked -- Nicole was completely shocked when he proposed to her there. After she said yes, the pair planned a destination wedding in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, where some of the bride’s relatives live and where she has many happy childhood memories.
