Renee wore a mermaid-shaped gown by Reem Acra and accessorized with rhinestone earrings and rosary beads, which were a gift from her grandmother.

Renee carried stephanotis bound with white ribbon, while her bridesmaids carried honey- and caramel-colored roses. The groomsmen wore white denbrobium boutonnieres.

Renee’s bridesmaids wore satin, floor-length halter dresses in chocolate brown by Jim Hjelm. Her junior bridesmaids dressed similarly in spaghetti-strap dresses of the same color.

“Our band totally rocked,” Renee remembers. “Guests kept telling us that they didn’t want to sit down!” Their first dance song? “The Best is Yet to Come” by Frank Sinatra.

Renee and David served their yellow sponge cake with chocolate mousse filling along with chocolate cups filled with vanilla ice cream and mixed berries. The cake was decorated with phalaenopsis orchids.

Though Renee Yosco first met David Wilson while working in London, it wasn’t until three years later that they really hit it off when reintroduced by a mutual friend back in the States. “I was an expatriate in London, and David is an expatriate here,” Renee explains, “so we realized we had a lot in common and kept each other laughing and having fun the entire night.” The two had such a wonderful time, they didn’t hesitate to plan their official first date -- on David’s birthday! “The pressure was on for me to find somewhere fun,” Renee says. She decided on a delicious dinner at Blue Water Grill in New York City. The Bride Renee Yosco, senior vice president at a PR firm The Groom David Wilson, company director The Date October 23 Two and half years later, David picked up Renee from work and took her to Rockefeller Center to admire the Christmas tree before heading to dinner at Renee’s favorite French restaurant. As the couple dined, Renee received a handwritten note -- a letter of proposal from David -- accompanied by an engagement ring. Ten months later, family and friends from around the world joined the couple for their wedding celebration.
