Shari and Evan’s ceremony area was marked with a series of eight tall trees adorned with fresh white orchids. Plexiglas chairs for the guests provided a chic addition to the room.

Shari and Evan’s guests found their escort cards displayed on a large Plexiglas tabletop. To add height and interest to the area, the florist added large vases filled with submerged flowers and floating candles.

The square tables at Shari and Evan’s reception were topped with a menagerie of low, rectangular vases filled with black river rocks and hand-sculpted white calla lilies. Each arrangement connected to the next with textural grass pieces.

The long banquet tables at Shari and Evan’s reception were topped with a series of low, rectangular, clear glass vases filled with orchids and calla lilies, each connected to the next to create a "hop" affect from vase to vase.

Shari and Evan chose a cake that boasted slightly different delicate patterns on each tier. In addition, each layer was placed off-kilter to add depth to the confection.

After dating for seven years, Evan and Shari were living on opposite coasts -- he was in New York and she in L.A. As Evan puts it, one evening while he was alone in his apartment, something clicked and he knew the time had come to propose.
