Stacy & Bert: An At-home Wedding in Lawson, MO

When Stacy Andreas and Lambert (Bert) Macy met at the Saddle & Sirloin Club in Kansas City, the evening became much more than just a fun night dancing to country music. Stacy was attending a party at the club where Bert was a member.

After Bert introduced himself and the two began to talk, he asked Stacy for a dance. They were so interested in each other during their first dance together that the country music became an afterthought. “We wish we could remember the song,” Stacy says; “it was love at first sight for both of us.” The couple was the last to leave the party that night and wasted no time seeing each other again -- they went on their first official date the next day. After a year and a half of dating, Bert proposed to Stacy at the couple’s vacation house at the Lake of the Ozarks, and the couple hosted an intimate, rustic wedding six months later.
