The programs were made from yellow hang tags and were bound with yellow and white striped grosgrain ribbon. Each program had a sticker on the front with the bride and groom's names and wedding date.

Susan and David opted to write their own vows. And, in a victory for David over Susan's distaste for 80s rock, they recessed up the aisle to Guns N Roses' "Sweet Child of Mine."

Guests were sent home with small jars of strawberry jam which were displayed in cream colored boxes of crinkle cut paper with the same stickers used for the ceremony programs.

Susan and David found each other thanks to mutual friends who decided they would be a perfect match, despite living on opposite coasts. They set David (who was living in LA) up with Susan (in Manhattan). Despite initial reluctance, their first phone conversation lasted four hours! Susan, who is not a phone person, knew she had found someone she could marry. The Bride Susan Bang, 31, fashion designer The Groom David Kim, 31, navy chaplain The Date May 3 They maintained a long distance relationship until one day, after a Navy ceremony, David -- in full uniform -- declared his love and proposed in front of all his military friends. Eight months later, they were married in a rustic, outdoorsy ceremony, which maintained its charm despite the rain that forced them indoors.
