In contrast with the other tables, Megan and Jason’s sweetheart table was covered in gray-blue linens. Fabric folded to look like flowers dressed up the backs of their chairs.

After the couple saw Alicia Keys in concert, they wanted one of her songs for their first dance. They debated over which one: Jason’s choice, “Like You’ll Never See Me Again,” won out.

When Megan met Jason at work, they were both dating other people. They thought of each other only as friends until they ended up single at the same time. That’s when the friendship evolved into something more. When they got engaged a year-and-a-half later, they had already been living together. The Bride Megan Finn, 27, event consultant The Groom Jason Davis, 31, operations manager The Date March 21 It was Monday morning, their first day going back to work after a vacation, when Jason awoke Megan with a ring in his hand. He didn’t get down on one knee, but he told her he wanted to marry her. The couple spent the next eight months planning a wedding for the first day of spring, which ended up being eight months to the day after Jason popped the question -- the one part they didn’t plan.
