After raving to both of his friends about how great the other one was, Doug set up an outing to introduce Derek to his college neighbor, Valerie. Valerie and Derek instantly became friends. The Bride Valerie Hill, 27, human resources administrator The Groom Derek Chandler, 27, mortgage loan processor The Date September 7 Knowing it would be hard to pull off a surprise engagement, Derek decided to propose on a random night after work.
