Victoria’s six bridesmaids wore custom-made, green and white seersucker, halter dresses with a bright fuchsia sash. Their bouquets overflowed with Kermit mums, pink King Proteas, and orange stephanotis, bound with a colorful Lilly Pulitzer scarf.

Victoria and Joseph married in a colorful wedding on the beach. White chairs accented with orange and yellow gerbera daisies lined the aisle, and the bride and groom stood between two bright pink, yellow, and orange floral topiary trees.

Victoria created green, pink, and white, accordion-style ceremony programs tied with fuchsia organza ribbon.

Designed to match the bridal party dresses, Victoria and Joseph’s unique, four-tiered, hexagonal cake was covered in white icing and embellished with orange, fuchsia, yellow, and white flowers.  A fuchsia “ribbon” was placed around each base, and a fuchsia bow sat on top.

A woven, wooden basket held colorful, green and pink, bubble favors with V & J printed on tiny tags, which Victoria and Joseph’s guests received at the ceremony. The bride also created tiny custom bottles of suntan lotion to go along with the couple’s beach theme.

Victoria and Joseph first bonded over their love of music. One night Victoria was out with friends checking out her favorite college band, while Joseph was with coworkers doing the same. The couple hit it off and soon made plans for drinks and a movie. The Bride Victoria Eisen, 27, territorial sales manager The Groom Joseph Detz, 30, trust administrator The Date June 8 A year-and-a-half later, Joseph had plans to pop the question on Victoria’s birthday, which also happened to be the night of his office Christmas party. Victoria was teaching a scrapbooking class that ran late, so Joseph postponed his plans. “The following day, Joseph surprised me in the middle of a New York Jets game with the most amazing, romantic proposal and ring,” recalls Victoria.
