Alison loved the look of tiered mini cupcakes (they’re also her favorite dessert), so she and Ben chose to have gold-foiled cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. They couldn’t decide on one flavor, so they served a few: mocha, vanilla, and raspberry with buttercream frosting. A single red velvet cake tier embellished with peacock feathers topped the confection.
