About Jacqueline and Jonathan

When I met Jonathan I didn’t know that “in sickness and in health” would apply to us before even exchanging vows. I was diagnosed with stage 2 non-Hodgkins lymphoma just a year into our relationship. Jonathan’s role went from boyfriend to caretaker and the sickness rocked our worlds. It took me two years to recover and feel like myself again. We began a new chapter in 2017, and when Jonathan proposed I couldn't say yes fast enough. Fifty percent of relationships that go through cancer never make it, but I wouldn't have made it without him. I want to spend the rest of my life showing him how grateful I am for supporting me at my worst, and saving my life.

Our Vendors

Food, music and creating a night that none of our guests will forget are the most important things to us! We’re so excited to work with The Knot and Emily Clarke to host a wedding that’s never been seen before.

Our Registory

Jonathan and I just bought our first home and there’s a lot of renovating to do! We’ve set up a Home Fund through The Knot Newlywed Fund to help with the costs. We’re also eager to start a family, but as my chemo treatments left me infertile, we’ve created a Baby Summerton fund to help us with the process. We’ve registered for kitchen and bathroom items to fill our new home with, and through The Knot Gifts Back we’ve also added a charity registry for The Teal Recovery Project. With each gift purchase, The Knot will donate to this non-profit founded by my friend Rena that focuses on fundraising, educating, and empowering women battling cervical cancer.
