Celeste Perron is a San Francisco-based writer, editor, and content marketing strategist. She currently works as the Content and Editorial Lead for Nurx in addition to continuing her freelance work. She has regularly contributed content to national print and online publications. Celeste is the author of an advice guide published by HarperCollins in 2005, and her freelance work includes ghost-writing for nonfiction lifestyle books. She is also a former Lifestyle Director of Cosmopolitan.
Celeste started her career as a Lifestyle Director for Cosmopolitan. She spent six years in this position, and then started working as a writer and creative consultant. Celeste writes editorial features for print and online publications including O: the Oprah Magazine, Self, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Women’s Health, Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, and Shape. Her past content marketing clients include companies like Mango Health, Conde Nast Magazines, Fairchild Books, and One Kings Lane. As she has transitioned between full-time roles, she has continued freelancing. In 2010, Celeste was hired by NBCUniversal, Inc. as a blogger for Health Goes Strong. She held this position for three years before being hired by accessible healthcare company Nurx as a Copywriter. After nearly two years she was promoted to her current position, Content and Editorial Lead.
Celeste is the author of Playing House: A Starter Guide to Being a Grown-Up, a domestic advice guide published by HarperCollins. She is also a ghost-author for nonfiction lifestyle books.
Celeste graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and received a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from New York University.
