The Beauty Product You Need, Based on Your Wedding Season

Winter, spring, summer or fall—all you need are the right goods in your toiletry bag.

Whether you're wrapping yourself in a fur stole on your wedding day or saying "I do" with your toes in the sand, you obviously want your beauty look to be on point. Everyone has their own skincare needs, of course, but generally speaking, these are the products you'll want to have on hand to look and feel as amazing as possible on your wedding day, no matter what time of year it is.

Fall: Moisturizer

Calling all autumnal brides! Seasonal changes during the fall—you know, those things like cooler temps and drier air—can wreak havoc on your skin. That's why you need a good moisturizer in your arsenal. You should always be using face lotion, but make sure you're slathering on a good cream every day before putting on your makeup, and every night too in the weeks leading up to your wedding. This one is loaded with hyaluronic acid so your skin will be super quenched, nourished and glowy by the time your nuptials roll around.

Winter: Facial Oil

Winter skin calls for the big guns. When the humidity level drops and the air outside is bitter, windy and dry, the moisture in your skin essentially evaporates. Sometimes, a simple lotion or moisturizer isn't enough—try an ultra-concentrated oil, which is more likely to penetrate your dry skin and lock in moisture. An oil can sound intimidating—especially if you have oily skin—but all you need is a few drops at the end of your skincare routine, and your skin will never look dull again. (This one is made with all-natural ingredients and has antiaging properties too.)

Spring: Scrub

Just like the season itself, your spring skin should be all about rebirth and rejuvenation. All that sludge and snow over the winter will likely do a number on your epidermis—you should always be exfoliating, but once the new season rolls around, it's extra-important to scrub those dead skin cells, sebum and environmental toxins away. Try something gentle and detoxifying, like this scrub-mask hybrid

Summer: Setting Spray

Okay—you'll need sunscreen first and foremost, especially if you're having an outdoor wedding, but you know that already. The real secret ingredient to a beautiful look on your summer wedding day will undoubtedly be setting spray. You definitely don't want any heat or humidity to undo your gorgeous makeup look, and a few spritzes of a great setting spray will make sure every thing is in its place and lasts all day long (no matter how much your sweat might try to sabotage your look). Plus, you can carry a compact spray like this one around in your clutch and give yourself a spritz throughout the night—it feels super cool and refreshing every time. Trust us.
