Located right outside of Sacramento is Bear Flag Farm, where purple lavender fields stretch for miles. Set up a large white tent on the lawn of this private estate for a picturesque celebration that can accommodate 250 to 300 guests. The environment may take care of the decor, but Signature Celebrations takes care of everything else—from the event coordination to the on-site catering and even the wedding cake!

Bloomfield Farms

4707 Bloomfield Road, Petaluma; (707) 526-0990; BloomfieldEvents.com

Regardless of the season, you can expect to find some seriously beautiful foliage here at Bloomfield Farms. The farm takes great pride in having practiced sustainable farming for more than 10 years now, which shows in the abundance of vegetables, herbs and fruit grown on the property. Accommodate your 150 guests in the historic barn for a reception with a rustic edge, then settle on the patio with lounge furniture surrounded by string lights for a cozy after-party atmosphere. And the patio fire pit makes for the perfect s'mores bar!

Callippe Preserve

8500 Clubhouse Drive, Pleasanton; (925) 426-6666; PlayCallippe.com

Native plants have flourished over time across the golf course's landscape, resulting in a profusion of wildflowers and wildlife—the perfect backdrop for an organic wedding. Let up to 200 friends and family members enjoy the view on the venue's outdoor patio, decorated with rentable objects and linens that go along with your chosen style, theme and color palette. A bonus: The on-site coordinator will take care of any last-minute needs, giving you some peace of mind on your wedding day.

Carmel Valley Ranch

1 Old Ranch Road, Carmel; CarmelValleyRanch.com

Vineyards, mountains and gardens—oh my! It's safe to say this Northern California ranch makes an ideal reception spot for nature lovers—or really anyone who appreciates the outdoors. Look into The Organic Garden, where you and your 175 guests will be surrounded by flower beds and vegetables, freshly picked for farm-to-table meals served on-site. Another option is renting out The Range, which is located on a driving range and features a large white tent and stunning views of Carmel Valley. Even the two indoor reception options immerse you in the scenery thanks to beautifully oversize windows.

CornerStone Sonoma

23570 Arnold Drive, Sonoma; (707) 933-3010; CornerStoneSonoma.com

From the outside space on the Vineyard Lawn to the white tent at the Wedding Garden, CornerStone Sonoma provides a wide range of reception locations on its landscaped grounds. Patches of ivory roses, olive trees and seasonal perennials decorate the perimeter, while grasses that vary in texture and color at Mediterranean Meadow make for a breathtaking backdrop—both serving as great photo ops to remember the day by. Want an indoor location for your reception instead? The rustic interior of the Garden Barn is the perfect choice, with sliding doors on all sides that still lets a guest list of up to 125 enjoy the rolling hills in the distance.

The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch

5704 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad; (760) 431-0352; TheFlowerFields.com

With 50 acres of giant tecolote ranunculus and three additional acres of roses, orchids, sweet pea blossoms and petunias, there's no doubt The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch live up to its name. Surround yourself and your guests with these blooms for a vibrant outdoor ceremony, then choose either the newly built Paul Ecke Jr. Barn, which holds up to 200 guests, or the open lawn with a backdrop of rolling hills for an unforgettable reception. Countless rows of these colorful blooms come to life during the months of March through May, but the venue is available year-round for special events.

Highland Springs Resort

10600 Highland Springs Ave., Cherry Valley; (951) 845-1151; HSResort.com

A more than 1,000-year-old oak tree—the second oldest coastal oak in the world—is one of the main focal points of this historic property, where you can say “I do." That and 2,400 acres of lush organic pastures and seas of lavender. Scenic backdrops do not disappoint here. Have your outdoor reception at the Olive Grove, where olive trees are harvested every fall to make organic olive oil, or surround yourselves and your 100 to 200 guests with a natural, pine forest–feel at the Festival Lawn. In case of rain, the Wedding Tent, illuminated by bistro lights and paper lanterns, is your go-to option, or The Grand Oak Steakhouse (named after the famous tree) is also available for an indoor celebration.

Keys Creek Lavender Farm

12460 Keys Creek Road, Valley Center; (760) 742 3844; KCLFarm.com

Although there are several lavender fields scattered throughout the state of California, Keys Creek represents the only organic lavender farm in the San Diego area. Rows of lavender, rosemary and rose geranium cover the spacious landscape, and the multileveled private event space gives guests a perfect elevated view of the fields. An added plus: The venue is extremely flexible about allowing plenty of time for proper setup and teardown, so you can slow down and savor every moment.

Maravilla Gardens

8620 Santa Rosa Road, Camarillo; (805) 491-1400; MGardens.com

What used to be a lemon orchard surrounded by dirt roads 41 years ago has now grown into the lush Maravilla Gardens, located in the heart of Ventura County. This venue is bordered by a working farm—complete with annual vegetation from blueberries and raspberries to pumpkins and cilantro—creating a lush backdrop that varies based on the time of year. Book the open garden space surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges and well-kept for a wedding, which comfortably seats up to 300 guests. You'll also get a caterer, day-of coordinator and rentals included in the package!

Pageo Lavender Farm

11573 Golf Road, Turlock; (209) 632-5052; PageoLavenderFarm.com

This small family farm specializes in growing annual lavender over an acre of land, which is just a short distance from the venue's reception space located right outside the rustic greenhouse and gift shop. A guest list of up to 250 can be accommodated throughout the area, and the farm provides unique tables, white wooden chairs and a variety of decorations that ultimately make the planning process easier.

From the open front of the three-sided cedar barn, admire 23 acres of grassy pastures speckled with wildflowers. The indoor-outdoor space is illuminated by wagon-wheel and mason-jar chandeliers. Anything's Possible Events can help transform the space to complement your specific style, color palette and theme. Bonus: Only one wedding is booked per weekend, so all the focus will be on your nuptial needs (along with your 200 guests)!
