4 Factors That Foil Failure
1. Your Motivation
Forget outside pressure. Forget the media. What are your reasons for doing this? How important is this to you? Trust yourself to assess what makes you happy and hold those reasons close to your heart throughout your journey.
2. Daily Mental Checkpoints
You should think about your goals a lot -- at least daily. Look in the mirror and say your reasons out loud. Write them down and put them on the fridge or on your computer screen. Find ways to keep your journey top-of-mind at all times.
3. Positive Outside Support
Your support system must be created by and for you. Surround yourself with positive people. Ignore negative influences and naysayers. Regularly work with and get help from others who have experienced success.
4. Leaving Your Comfort Zone
To get your new body, you must go to new places, try new things and meet new people. You must say good-bye to your old ways of doing things; otherwise you'll keep your old body. Anticipate and enjoy your new adventure.
The Bottom Line
If you can remember everything I ever tell you, that's wonderful -- but I know that's unlikely, so if nothing else, just remember these four factors. If you have belief in your reasons, daily mental checkpoints, positive outside support and a willingness to leave your comfort zone, you're set up to size down that gown.
