The Best Las Vegas Wedding Venues for Every Budget

Whatever you plan on spending, these ceremony and reception spots are a sure bet.
by Cassie Kreitner

Getting married in Las Vegas isn’t just for spur-of-the-moment vows or high-roller affairs: From the lights on the Strip to the stars over the desert, there’s a locale for every wedding style and budget. Whether you’re envisioning an intimate outdoor dinner or modern ballroom ceremony, there are so many ways and places to say “I do”—the only limit is your imagination. We chose unique venues at three different budgets to show how it’s possible to pull off a memorable Vegas celebration, no matter how much you have to spend.

Approximately $5,000-$10,000 for 50 guests (ceremony and reception)

For a charming vintage courtyard: Historic 5th Street School

Exchange vows in front of the tiled fountain in the mission-style courtyard of the Historic 5th Street School. Built in 1936 and now on the National Register of Historic Places, the aptly named space is renowned for its stucco architecture and Spanish-tiled patio—perfect for the ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour under twinkling lights. Pose for your first photo as a married couple in one of the archways, before hosting up to 150 guests for an outdoor reception. Or head inside to the school’s gallery or auditorium, where you can dance the night away on restored wood floors in front of up to 350 guests.

For a tropical escape: Tahiti Village

Plan your wedding at a beach-like setting without traveling to the South Pacific at Tahiti Village, an all-suite resort just two miles off the Strip. Greet guests upon arrival—tropical drink in hand, of course—at a private luau, and hold your ceremony with up to 300 guests in a palm tree-lined courtyard or one of the three other outdoor venues. And since you’ll likely need a little R&R the morning after, what better way to do it than at a large sand beach-entry pool or floating through a long lazy river? It’s like an instant honeymoon.

For a breathtaking desert: Valley of Fire

Transport your guests away from the Strip for a one-hour ride to this majestic state park, where 40,000 acres of red sandstone formations make up an area of the Mojave Desert known as the Valley of Fire. Many companies offer wedding packages that include the permit (a requirement to get married in the park), officiant, photography, flowers and seating for up to 100 guests, and you can choose from several sites with equally picturesque scenery for your ceremony.

Approximately $10,000-$20,000 for 50 guests (ceremony and reception)

For an architectural wonder: Keep Memory Alive Event Center

Let your love (and up to 400 guests) fill the large, whimsical space within the Frank Gehry-designed Keep Memory Alive Event Center. Located in historic downtown, this expansive indoor/outdoor space allows plenty of natural light to come through the windowed angular walls. The building’s unique shape also makes a cool backdrop for colorful LED uplighting—which is included in the facilities fee—along with use of the Gehry-designed furniture, linens and china.

For classic with character: The Smith Center for Performing Arts

Set the stage for a lifetime of happiness at The Smith Center, a LEED-certified performance center appropriately known as the “Heart of the Arts.” Make your married couple debut on the steps of the Grand Lobby beneath 19-foot art-deco chandeliers, imbibe in a romantic cabaret space overlooking Symphony Park, or entertain al fresco in the beautiful courtyard. With 10 halls, theaters and outdoor spaces to rent (several of which can fit more than 200 people for a seated dinner), there are plenty of ways to host a classic celebration on the grounds of this majestic limestone center. And thanks to a 10-hour space rental, you’ll have plenty of time to make sure your vision is perfectly executed.

For the modern romantic: SLS Las Vegas

Looking for a sophisticated wedding with a hint of glam? The sleek event spaces at SLS Las Vegas are a no-brainer. If you love a trendy setting, there are several award-winning restaurants and lounges on site —in particular, Cleo, Foxtail and The Sayers Club (which has an outdoor patio facing The Strip)—all of which are well-suited to hold a welcoming cocktail hour or contemporary reception. Have a large guest list? Several of the chic ballrooms (and even the rooftop pool deck!) can accommodate more than 250 guests.

Approximately $20,000 and up for 50 guests (ceremony and reception)

For a waterfront oasis: Westin Lake Las Vegas

Just a half hour away from the Strip lies Lake Las Vegas, a 320-acre lakeside paradise that’s home to the Mediterranean-inspired Westin Lake Las Vegas resort. Welcome your guests with a yacht dinner cruise, then make things legal the next day in one of the property’s outdoor ceremony locations with the desert sunset in the background. Gather up to 400 people on the La Menzah lawn, or cap your list at 350 for a gazebo ceremony among the roses in the Andalusian Gardens. Afterwards, mingle with guests in the courtyard or in one of the elegant ballrooms, both surrounded by lake and red rock views.

For endless options: Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

Whether you prefer to declare your love on a rooftop with breathtaking views, underneath a shark-filled seawater tank, in front of a tropical waterfall or in a traditional chapel, Mandalay Bay’s eight ceremony venues and four enhancement packages offer truly unforgettable settings to make your ceremony dreams come true. And you don’t have to leave the property for your reception: There are several suites, restaurants, or ballrooms on site that can fit up to 50 people.

The Venetian Las Vegas

For European elegance: The Venetian | The Palazzo

Recite your vows at one of the most romantic hotel properties on the Strip (and the second largest in the world!). If you’re looking for an intimate ceremony, board a gondola for a floating “I do” on The Venetian’s elegant Grand Canal. Or take your nuptials (and up to 150 guests) outside at one of the many private courtyards and garden terraces on the property. If you have a smaller guest list, you can even tie the knot in a sky-high suite or in front of The Palazzo’s two-story waterfall. Continue the celebration at one of the many Italian-themed restaurants or reception spaces on site. Saluti!
