The Neill-Cochran House Museum

Draped in history, this Austin landmark has entertainment in its 160-year-old bones. Former residents Andrew and Jennie Neill used to throw infamous parties at their house in the 1870s. Plan an intimate antebellum affair for up to 60 guests inside the house, or host a larger ceremony and reception outside for up to 300 on the museum's nearly 18 acres. One stunning detail: An enormous pecan tree that's estimated to be 150 years old along the front walk—perfect for first-look photos.

Welcome 40 to 200 guests to your outdoor wedding on the circular lawn or fountainfilled Grand Allee du Meadows, then head inside to the grand ballroom, where oversize windows serve as the backdrop for the band or DJ stage. For a fun conversation starter, host cocktail hour in the tropical butterfly house.

Hummingbird House

La Estancia Bella

The 6,500-square-foot, air-conditioned grand hall at this 100-acre cattle ranch features exposed cedar trusses and high ceilings with gorgeous barnlike architecture for a space that can hold 250.
