After wrapping up New York City spring bridal fashion week we had the pleasure of sitting down with Carlos Ramirez of Liancarlo to learn more about his latest collection. It's always a treat to speak with Carlos because he has such a passion for what he does — And what he does is create beautiful wedding dresses! For a peek at how his newest collection came to life watch the video below. You'll fall in love with these European laces and flattering silhouettes, I guarantee you! The inspiration? Venice.

Now, let's take a look at some of my favorites (up close and personal!).

What's better than 3D floral embellishment on your wedding dress? Having a stunning cathedral veil to match. With such a detailed design, a bracelet and subtle earrings will complete this look.

Confession: I'm a sewing nerd. Nothing makes me more giddy than intricate hand embroidery like this ribbon work with metallic thread. You can't fully appreciate the detail until you look closely.

Adding a crystal sash can glam up any lace gown. Find one with a fancy design to match the lace pattern. Lastly, a sparkly shoe will really make a statement.

Carlos Ramirez is a master as you can see. Check out this layered skirt for a subdued sparkle and dimension. The depth and pattern of these fabrics are certainly one-of-a-kind. With a unique design like this you can accessorize it to be red-carpet-ready or chic and understated.

One of my favorites from the collection is this tiered tulle ball gown. The flower appliques continue under each layer for another dimension effect (trend alert). Complete this look with a coordinating ribbon sash and there's no way you won't have all eyes on you.
