Marchesa Spring 2018: Classic Silhouettes Take on New Forms
The Designer: Marchesa
The Details: The Spring 2018 Marchesa collection is inspired by the hedge-lined pathways of Castle Howard, a prominent brick-walled garden in England that's considered a paradise of intoxicating florals. The collection is rooted in the serene yet vibrant beauty of the majestic garden.
The Looks: Ruffled bows and feathered flower details embellish open-back gowns and dropped-waist bodices. There are eye-catching details throughout the collection, like silver beaded threadwork and pearl embroidery, that elevate each silhouette into a truly enchanting creation. Strapless fit-and-flare gowns are crafted in silk faille and stretch crepe, while ball gowns are draped in taffeta and feature structured lace bodices.
