This Bridal Stylist Threw a Wintry Woodland Wedding in Woodbury, NY!
Bridal stylist Annie Cavallo spends her days designing wedding fashion shoots (including a few for The Knot Magazine) and styling brides for her company WellStyled Events, so it made perfect sense that she'd take the reigns the same when it came time for her own wedding. “I did every inch of planning myself; I basically treated my wedding day like a very big photo shoot," says Annie.
And of course when it came to picking a dress Annie knew exactly the right look to fit her the look and feel of her wedding day. She picked a lace gown from Pronovias that she found while doing research for a shoot. “I always wanted a timeless gown that I could look back on in forty years and not say to myself 'What was I thinking?' I thought for a winter wedding the sleeve added a little more romance and I love the Spanish lace because my husband is half Spanish and it was a nice homage to him," says Annie.
The rustic and intimate Woodlands at Woodbury provided the backdrop for Annie and Brian's cozy rustic woodland winter wedding (and it just so happened to be the first venue they looked at!). A palette of mint and sage mixed with metallics like gold and silver added elegance to the day. See photos of Annie and Brian's romantic winter wedding shot by Jami Saunders Photography, below!
