Victoria KyriaKides Fall 2017: Architectural Lace and Luxe Fabrics
The Designer: Victoria KyriaKides
The Details: This season was influenced by old European architecture and the lives of creative people who surround Victoria KyriaKides. "I found inspiration in today's fashion figures, artists, curators, models and musicians," says Kyriakides. With defined baroque laces and hand-placed appliques on the bodice of the dresses, it's a fresh take on romantic lace details.
The Looks: We're loving the sweet and demure effect of a barely-there spaghetti strap paired with a lace bodice and airy A-line skirt. Warm undertones of blush and a fitted waistline combine to create an ultra-flattering gown. Another stunning dress is a French tulle V-neck gown with a long train that's guaranteed to be a head-turner when walking down the aisle. The waistline is embellished with hand-placed lace that tapers off into the skirt for a seamless melding of the two fabrics.
