Get this romantic look for your wedding day with these hot beauty tips from the pros backstage at Rivini by Rita Vinieris.

Get inspired

Designer Rita Vinieris took inspiration from the “tranquil mystery of Venice. The beautiful harmony of the gentle gothic architecture reflecting on the shimmering waters." This translated into soft undone hair and a warm earth tone makeup palette.

Think texture

Franco Della Grazie for Cutler channeled the sensual mood of Venice with a contemporary “La Dolce Vita meets runway" updo. Subtle crimping gives the hairstyle body and texture that looks messy, yet elegant.

Go for natural hues

Aveda makeup artist Fawn Monique used warm earth toned brown shadows for the eyes and cheeks to reflect the gothic style architecture of Venice. Monique suggests “creating shadows with shades of brown to enhance your personal features."

Highlight your cheeks

Use a bronzer for extra definition and to get an Italian sun-kissed look by sweeping it over your face with an oversized fluffy bronzer brush. Apply along your jawline and cheekbones (anywhere the sun would naturally hit) for a subtle glow.

The models at Rivini wore a hydrating muted lip gloss that had a serious shimmer effect–playing up the reflecting canals of water that inspired Vinieris.
