even video chatted with us prior to our wedding to get to know us and go over the reception schedule with us. During the reception, 2Proud2Beg absolutely crushed it. People of all ages were quite literally on the dance floor from 8 p.m. to midnight. Our guests were in awe of the band and continually told us so both during our reception and after!
So many of our guests came up during and after our wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed the band. They were fun, had a great set list, and most of all, they were extremely talented. The saxophone player played like it was freaking Cochella ...
it was awesome. They covered our first dance song (which was an entirely different genre than they play) and I think I love it more than the original. Having a band was something that was really important to me, and I was not disappointed at all. They brought all their equipment and lighting and, as far as I know, worked seamlessly with the venue and coordinator.

n easy choice. Though, we got married in Colorado. We reached out to the band manager Ron and asked if they would be willing to travel. Sure enough they made the trip and we are SO thankful. The planning process was super easy because Ron was so organized and quick to respond. Then on the day of the wedding, they showed up on time and ready to perform. This band is amazing. Not only are they professionals but they are extremely talented. They had the dance floor full the entire reception because they are SO good. We had so many compliments from our wedding guests stating that our band was amazing and they had such a great time. We had searched high and low for a local KC band that wasn't the typical "wedding cover band" and as soon as we saw their Motown-filled set list with some of the 90s classics and modern songs we love, we were all in. They were a pleasure to work with during planning and were extremely accommodating with our venue's restrictions and room flip. Book them now!

eat MC (first dance, cake cutting, speeches, food dismissals...everything!), and the rest of the band had non stop energy all night! Not only did they bring an amazing MoTown sound (which is why my wife and I hired them), but they showed great versatility in brining modern songs and also a few 80s hits to satisfy all of ours guests. The dance floor was packed al night...and we still get compliments till this day of how great the band was. I HIGHLY recommend Ron and his team...they made our special day what it was. Manager
Ron is the manager and lead vocalist for 2Proud2Beg. With Ron on keys and his powerhouse vocals, 2Proud2Beg performs at weddings, corporate events, festivals and concerts all over the Midwest as well as some of the hottest clubs in Kansas City. Ron has been involved in music for the past 20 years. From getting his start singing in the church as a worship leader to playing lead roles in musicals in some of Kansas City's leading theaters. In addition, he is also an actor and voiceover artist and can be heard and seen all over KC and he currently works as a Music Minister at a local church. Ron
