I have been in event Planning for years, having done multiple Weddings, Anniversaries, and Quinceanera's; not to mention the multitude of corporate events and fundraisers that I have produced. When I was asked to be one of one of two Event Plan...ners for my Nephew's Wedding, naturally I said YES. We looked at several venues; but when he and his wife saw 34 Events, it was an easy decision. I could not make the initial site inspection; so, I met the owner, Alex, a few days later with a private tour. I was impressed by the space; but his professionalism, responsiveness, and clear knowledge of Event planning was what sold me. Not only was he super easy to work with; but he was flexible, organized, and extremely responsive. Coincidentally, I did not meet him again until the day of the event; so, all planning from that first meeting was via email. When we arrived for the rehearsal, he was there and prepared. He not only came through with all the promises he had made; but there was also not one single "surprise" as often is the case with venues of this nature. In fact, he went beyond what was even discussed and left me speechless with his gestures of grace and generosity. On the day of the event, he was there again for the setting up part; but then his wife, Hope, stepped in to run the event. Well, just as I thought things couldn't get any better, in was Hope with her charm, incredible personality, and spot-on focus. Throughout the night, she was always one step ahead of all of us. It was clear that she was a professional; and it just made my job all that easier. The guests wanted for nothing; and we just kept receiving raves as the night proceeded. The Staff from the Chef, the bartenders, and servers were just impeccable. In my world, I can turn any space into an amazing event; but it is people like the Staff at 34 Events who just make all the challenging work worth it.
