STAY FAR FAR AWAY!! A Grey Soiree absolutely RUINED our wedding day. Jackie was unprofessional, demeaning, and rude. Her "assistants" were as well. The day before the wedding, she started arguing with us saying that what we asked her to do was...n't covered in her contract - despite her creating a CUSTOM contract covering it. And somehow, I ended up trying to calm Jackie down - something the bride shouldn't have to do. The planner should be the one keeping it together, not vice versa.
She even attempted to leave during set-up after becoming overwhelmed, and complained that she had to relieve the babysitter that was watching her newborn child (and surprise - she refused to meet in person with us to go over wedding details because she didn't want us knowing she was pregnant).
The only time she was pleasant was at the end of the night when tips were being distributed. We gave her tip to the photographer and the venue contact instead, as they were the ones to actually pull together our wedding when she had a breakdown.
Nothing was set up correctly. Nothing was set up on time. We were to get married at sunset and her team wasn't even done setting up! My bridesmaid had to get the show going and direct Jackie on what to do before the sun set and it was dark.
Literally EVERYONE complained about her: the vendors, the guests, the bridal party...There was not a single person who enjoyed her presence that day.
WORST DECISION OF MY ENTIRE LIFE.
