Sharon is a MUST. Absolutely, 100% worth every penny. I want to give her more than 5-stars. You will meet her and love her, and you should take comfort in the fact that she will go to war for you and your wedding.
I am one of many COVID brides,... and I am telling you that my husband and I could not have handled the mess of rescheduling without Sharon. It's hard enough to plan your wedding on a normal day, add in a pandemic, a reschedule... my husband and I live in Houston and were getting married in Louisville. It's just a lot to handle. Plus trying to work a job, go to school, whatever your circumstance is... Having a wedding planner/coordinator like Sharon takes a lot of weight off your shoulders. You'll be stressed about your wedding day no matter what, but Sharon will make sure that you're not stressed about your vendors showing up, the flowers being correct, the DJ being set up and ready, you having food in front of you and drink in your hand, etc. She does everything, and my god is it incredible to not be stressed out. You should enjoy your wedding day, and because of Sharon, we had an incredible day.
To give you examples, Sharon calls your vendors the week of your wedding to make sure everyone is ready. She coordinates when things get dropped off. She emails the day-of schedule to your wedding party and parents of the bride and groom. Everyone knows where to be and when. It started raining at our wedding while we were inside for dinner. Our toasts were supposed to be outside on the dance floor. Sharon asked us if we wanted to move the toasts to inside. We said "yes," and she made it happen. She got the DJ ready. Made sure the photographer and videographer were ready... It was so seamless. You would have thought everything was going to plan and we didn't change a thing.
Now when I say she will go to war for you, I mean it. At our wedding we had a tent up on the patio covering our dance floor. There were supposed to be lights strung up inside the tent. Turns out, the rental company forgot them/didn't hang them. She didn't even come to me with this problem. She called up the rental company and demanded the lights be hung and ready by the time of the first dance. She basically said she didn't care how it happens, but it will happen. She knew my husband and I wanted them (and had already paid for them), so she solved day-of problems without stressing us out on our big day. The lights were hung and lit up for our first dance. She also encouraged us to send an email to the rental company and ask for a partial refund because the contract said we were supposed to have these lights for X amount of hours, and we had them for half the contracted amount. So we are getting a check in the mail from the rental company.
