Brian, their event manager, was so easy to deal with. His motto is, let me stress about that, you go and enjoy. That is exactly what happen. He and his team handled anything that was thrown their way without any issues. Professionalism is the name of their game. Did I mention that this was at a private residence so the meal had to be cooked in one of their kitchens on wheels. You would have never known. From set up to break down, we didn't have to worry because Brian and co had it covered. We got a lot of complements from our guest about both the food and the service. Hire them. You won't be disappointed.

The tl;dr version of our review is “hire them now, you will not regret it!” For those who want to know why we were so happy, keep reading…. Like many people during the pandemic, my husband and I had to put off our wedding celebration until the fall of 2021. With the large numbers of couples trying to move their wedding celebrations combined with the normally planned weddings, finding a caterer on the Cape was proving to be a real challenge. Very few caterers were available, and those that didn’t outright turn us down suggested we move our wedding date to accommodate their schedule. Alden Park stood out as being the most thorough, flexible, and responsive. Our wedding venue in Provincetown did not have a kitchen; Alden Park said “no problem — we have a mobile kitchen.” After signing our contract, we determined that our wedding venue was located where the mobile kitchen could not be taken; Alden Park said “no problem — we’ll create a mobile kitchen on-site.” Lest you think I’m exaggerating, their only request was power and a tent to cook in. Brian took care of all of the details, and for a couple like us (we live in California and did our own wedding planning), his attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and flexibility really made the difference between getting what we asked for (not enough) and what we wanted (an amazing reception). While we were searching for a caterer, our friends and family told us that nobody remembers their wedding food. Let me just say that I absolutely remember my food — and we ate it all (apparently also a rarity for the newlywed couple!) We had a number of friends with dietary restrictions — Brian had a seat map identifying each of the individuals and their specific allergies/needs. Did I mention that the seat map wasn’t completed until just before Alden Park arrived? We had a choice of steak, chicken, or vegetarian meals and heard from multiple guests how much they enjoyed each. My husband and I both had the steak and we were delighted at how well it was prepared, including the divine pan sauce, especially considering it was all coming from an ad-hoc kitchen in a tent. There were numerous comments from the guests echoing how good the food was, most of whom did not know that the “kitchen” was a tent. There were even compliments about the dinner bread! My husband and I are avid fans of the show Top Chef and one of the keys to winning Restaurant Wars is having an amazing front-of-house. Alden Park did not disappoint with the wait staff — all were attentive, personable, and seemed to be having a great time. My father-in-law commented on the professionalism of the wait staff — not something I would have expected to hear from a catered event. Even our bartender, who had to be brought in at the last minute due to an emergency, did a great job (especially cutting off my nephew in the politest of ways!) Planning and executing a wedding is hard work but Brian truly took the stress off our shoulders. Thanks in no small part to Alden Park, I have never been to a wedding where I had more fun and where I thought everything was perfect. Brian and Alden Park made our special day extraordinary for us and our guests, and for that, we are extremely grateful.

The passed apps were plentiful and equally delicious. The bartenders and service staff are true professionals in the industry. Friendly, attentive and go above and beyond for their guests. Aside from the food, Brian goes above and beyond for his brides. He was sewing my bustle right before the start of the reception because it was so wet with rain water it was heavy and kept ripping. He made me feel like everything was on schedule, there was no rush - he was checking in and the first one to get us drinks and a plate of food. We couldn't recommend Alden Park enough - and on top of everything I just said the value is unbeatable.

Brian met with us the next day and within 3 hours, we had re-planned the whole wedding that was now only 7 days away. It was at Bourne Farm so no kitchen is available. He and his crew came with their mobile kitchen and served a delicious feast. They scrambled to get most of the rentals and with the help of our florist and wedding planner (Judy, from All About Flowers) who did everything else, we were able to have a perfect wedding! Many, many thanks to Alden Park, Brian and his staff. Do not hesitate to hire them!
