Alterations By Sandra

Everyone focuses on the dress designer but the alterations experts are the unsung hero’s. Sandra is a miracle worker. My dress was a complex structure and fabric (I had no idea when buying it!) but she made me look and feel like a movie star. The fit was perfect and the bustle lasted (with 17 buttons!!!!) all night long. These dresses are true works of art and the price tag reflects that-take it somewhere for alterations that will amplify it to make the perfect fit! Worth every single penny. THANK YOU SANDRA.

Sandra is amazing. I got my wedding dress tailored by her and she was so easy to work with. She listened to what I wanted done/changed and the dress was perfection! Wes is also amazing and makes communication super easy. Cannot recommend her enough!! She's a gem.

Sandra was so fantastic to work with. Due to some complications with my dress maker, I had less than two months to get my dress altered in time before my flight. Sandra not only made time to squeeze in multiple appointments for me, but she got my dress altered with enough time to schedule follow-up meetings. Plus, she made bustling my train so easy for my MOH. Highly recommend!!

Sandra and Wes make a great team, they worked with my hectic schedule, and I couldn't have been more pleased with each appointment, and of course the final product. 3. Overall, I couldn't have imagined a more perfect gown on such a momentous occasion!!! Sandra's attention to detail and her passion for her work was apparent at every fitting. Although, it can be a little scary going through an alterations process (buying a gown that you think will only need minor alterations, then realizing that you couldn't actually sit down in it after spending an ungodly amount of money for it, to seeing it taken apart little by little.... you get the point)...but WOW! In the end - it was perfect!!! It fit like glove, was so comfortable to wear, I didn't fall out of it when dancing or dipping, and in the end I was reluctant to take it off :) 4. Sandra did a great job with my wedding dress. I first tried to get it tailored at the bridal boutique I bought it at and they rushed me through the process, over charged and I wasn't happy with the results. Sandra came to my rescue with only a few weeks until my wedding, and she was so reasonable with the pricing!

Sandra was a joy to work with. Professional, methodical, detail oriented, honest, and hard working. A warm and lovely person to work with. My dress turned out perfectly and ti wasn't an easy material to work with. Would use her again and again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Sandra! I did a TON of research before settling on Alterations by Sandra for the alterations that I needed for my wedding dress. The dress was a fully beaded, sheath dress with a small train that needed to be taken in in the waist, have the shoulders taken up, and the train needed to be hemmed. The alterations were expensive, but actually reasonably priced considering the dress was fully beaded and Sandra had to do all of the work by hand. I brought my dress in to her in August for an October wedding, had two fittings, and then picked up my dress the week before the wedding. Sandra was professional, extremely smart about how she went about the process, and just a very talented seamstress. She was also super fun to chat with and made me feel completely at ease with everything that was going on. (Note, written by the bride)
