My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Alyssa Colvin as our coordinator for our 2024 wedding, and we can't recommend her enough! From start to finish, Alyssa was an absolute dream to work with—she brought so much professionalism, creativity, and calm to the entire process, and we are forever grateful. Upon our first meeting I told Alyssa I had not yet found a florist, and she let me know she does florals as well. I was thrilled with her floral proposal and going with her was so much more affordable and easier, one less vendor to worry about! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted for the florals and she spent a lot of time going back and forth with me to create something I loved. My bouquet was seriously INSANE and so many people told me it was the best bouquet they had ever seen, and frankly, I agree!! I would recommend Alyssa for all her services for so many reasons.

Alyssa helped me so much in planning my wedding. She has been my rock through the process. Answered all my questions and was happy to response to my texts and instagram messages about ideas. She is so creative and made the process so easy. She also took care of my flowers, table decor and napkins. She is absolutely amazing! if you want someone to help you when you need it and also be there to bounce ideas off of Alyssa is your girl! She is also so sweet! I had the pleasure of working with Alyssa for almost a year since I hired her for the full planning of my destination wedding in San Diego. You can imagine how stressful it could have been to plan a wedding from another state (we live in Texas), but Alyssa really took on the majority of the burden. As a bride who knew nothing about weddings, Alyssa talked me through everything from save the dates/invitations and general wedding preparation timelines, to rehearsal dinner and finances, and MANY 'things to consider' that never crossed my mind. She was flexible in allowing me to be as hands off or involved as I wanted to be. Alyssa was very communicative throughout the whole process (including tolerating my spontaneous semi-panicked texts at random hours) and our phone/video conversations brought me peace during some high stress moments. Alyssa is thorough, organized, thoughtful, creative, and professional, and it felt like she deeply cared about the details and flow of our wedding as if it were her own. My husband and I weren't even sure how we wanted the decor and layout of the big day to look, but somehow Alyssa captured our aesthetic and 'vibe' perfectly. That includes the bar menu, which was she helped put together and was perfection. She also has a network of vendors within different price points whom she can refer, and the ones she found for us were wonderful. Alyssa truly made our wedding memorable and stress free and an event my husband and I could just enjoy with the people around us. That day was the MOST FUN we have ever had. She was very communicative and organized leading up to the wedding and throughout the day. We had many different vendors with differing needs/times of arrival which Alyssa navigated so well. I felt very comfortable entrusting her to manage anything that came up. I am so appreciative of Alyssa's thoughtfulness, care and attention to detail. She also went above and beyond by capturing sweet moments from our day with photos/videos that I'll always cherish. Alyssa was the Day Of Coordinator for our wedding on 11-11-22. It was an intimate wedding we had already selected all of our vendors for the event. We wanted someone to have the day run smoothly and she executed that as expected. She was timely in answering our questions and communicated well. She was available for a walk through at the venue prior to our wedding as we had no wedding party and did not require a rehearsal dinner. Very personable, friendly, and detail oriented. Would recommend for day of coordination events!

So very happy I decided to go with Alyssa for my day of coordinator. She was so much more than a day of coordinator though. She always answered any of my calls, texts, and millions of questions during the wedding planning process. When it came to day of, she was communicative, thoughtful, helpful, and went above and beyond to help myself and my husband with whatever we needed day of. Alyssa was so so amazing! We hired her for a day of coordinator for our wedding in October! From the beginning she was always organized, attentive and willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure I wasn’t stressed out! Up until the day of the wedding she helped create my timeline and handled all contacts with vendors even when she was sick and on a trip! She is a trooper. On the day of the wedding she was there 24/7 helping me with my dress to running florals down to my husband and the groomsman and settling up everything perfectly for cocktail hour and reception! I could not recommend Alyssa enough! Oh and she even caught some amazing BTS photos and videos which we were so grateful to see immediacy after the wedding! She is the nicest human ever and the sweetest! Hire her you won’t be disappointed!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I loved Alyssa! I needed something between a full planner and a day-of coordinator, and Alyssa was fantastically flexible and accommodating. Every other coordinator quoted me a limited number of hours and emails - Alyssa doesn't work that way. She's responsive and helpful, and even came up with extra tasks for herself (like going to Michael's the night before to pick up a book for our photo booth). I'm happy I found her, and would book her again!

Alyssa was amazing! The week of she was super diligent in organizing everything and went above and beyond to set everything up - going to far as the drive my wedding dress and decorations back to the house for safe keeping so we could go to the after party! Highly recommend!

Where do I even begin with Alyssa. First, I knew that I would need a planner to help me execute my wedding. I booked Alyssa early on in the process because she understood my and my husband's desire to have a fun, go with the flow day that didn't break the bank. We threw an instant curve ball at her by deciding to have a destination wedding. But she came through and was able to secure great local vendors with whom she had no prior contact with and she traveled to the destination without question. We even changed some things last minute and she was able to execute on those changes with grace and ease. Throughout the planning process, she was flexible and entertained my myriad of half-baked, whimsical ideas. I think I changed my vision for the wedding at least a dozen times, but she accepted every change with a smile and a get-it-done attitude. The week of the wedding, her flights were cancelled and her travel was a mess, but she still arrived with a smile on her face. She even went to local flower shops to get some extra florals for the wedding. She went so far above and beyond what we hired her for -- truly the day would not have happened without her amazing support and professionalism. I am so sad that my wedding is over and our professional relationship has come to an end. If you are in the planning process of your wedding, I hope this review will help you in your decision to book Alyssa as your planner. There are many things I'd change about my wedding day, but hiring Alyssa was not one of those things. I am pleased and honored to give Alyssa Colvin a great review. Here is my story. Originally, I was not looking for a Wedding Coordinator. I ran into an unfortunate situation with a change of Ownership/Management at our booked wedding venue. The original gal who booked our wedding was outstanding! Long story short, this wonderful gal ended up taking a job elsewhere. Our newly assigned Event Coordinator preferred working Corporate Events. Her heart was simply not into "weddings." My questions were infrequently answered, and I always felt like a bother! I decided to hire a Wedding Coordinator to be a go between and assist with wedding prep and challenges on our wedding day. I spoke with several Wedding Coordinators, but Alyssa was different. I felt instant chemistry with her! Alyssa was so kind and understanding when I first reached out to her and explained my/our dilemma. During our very first phone conversation, it felt liked she removed this big stormy rain cloud from above! In fact, she shared her own personal story, with me, which no doubt led to her successful career in wedding planning today! I knew Alyssa was going to be the best Wedding Coordinator for us. Her easy going, yet strong personality, made me feel immediately at ease! Listed below are a few examples of how Alyssa made our Wedding Planning and Day of go smoothly: Alyssa is organized and professional. From Day 1, she stayed in touch with, both myself and the Event Coordinator at the Resort, in a timely manner. We were finally all on the same page. One of Alyssa's strengths is communication and follow up. We had scheduled zoom meetings, with the Resort Event Coordinator, to go over different stages of my wedding planning. In addition, Alyssa created a wedding timeline and reached out to everyone on our Wedding Vendor List. If there were any schedule conflicts, Alyssa did her best to work with the Event Coordinator at the Resort, to resolve things. The Day prior to our Wedding, Alyssa met with our Wedding Party and organized a most professional and enjoyable Wedding Rehearsal! She took the time, in advance, to learn about Jewish Weddings. She also had music downloaded in advance for our wedding rehearsal. On the Day of our Wedding, Alyssa was punctual, organized and ready to put dreams into action. She went through many labeled bins for various tables, i.e. our Memory Table, Welcome Table, Sweetheart Table, and she lovingly set everything up as if it were her own Wedding. When I realized our Florists had left and did not hand out corsages or pin boutonniers, Alyssa jumped in without hesitation. She was friendly and accommodating not only to my Fiance and I, but to everyone. Our wedding guests all noticed and were impressed! At the end of the evening, after our beautiful reception concluded, Alyssa had all of our empty bins refilled, all of our gifts and cards, ready to be packed in cars to perfection! And then . . . above and beyond . . . a surprise for me. My new husband and I were staying on property at the resort, less than five minutes away from where the reception was held. My husband thought I looked like a Princess, and felt I should be driven back to our unit in a really nice car. It was too late at night to rent a car. Alyssa offered to drive us back to our unit, in her car, which was lovely! She even decorated her car with some of our wedding decorations. Forever grateful to Alyssa, Ellen Conrad

To say Alyssa went over and beyond throughout the entire process would be a total understatement. Not only me, but also my guests where blown away by how amazing she was during the day. My wedding was perfect and exactly what I envisioned thanks to Alyssa. Even after having to reschedule (thanks covid) and my original venue cancelling last minute. She took all the stress off my shoulders and executed every task that she didn’t even have to do. From the beautiful grazing table she put together, to all the errands and last minute shopping she did for us, being our ceremony DJ, all the way to cake cutting. Alyssa is simply the best! I could not have gone through my wedding without her! My only regret is not hiring her sooner! I found her for the month of and she was amazing as day of coordinator too. No task was too big or too small, her attention to detail and on top of it attitude was exactly what I needed, she gave me peace of mind & the best recommendations when I needed them most. From picking up items last minute to arranging favors and making sure each table setting was set up and everything went smoothly. Alyssa was so helpful and attentive to every detail when it came to our wedding day! She made sure everything was set up perfectly, down to every last detail, she was able to play our videos and slideshows on our projector and worked seamlessly with our other vendors. She stayed from the before any vendors arrived until we had everything packed up and ready to go - she even made sure our dog was taken care of during our ceremony when he was getting antsy! We were only looking for a ‘Day of’ as we had everything else already planned but just wanted to ensure the day of would go smoothly and she was the perfect fit! Not only did Alyssa go above & beyond being our ‘Day of’ coordinator, but she was there every step of the way in the prior weeks leading up to the wedding. Hiring Alyssa did not feel like a business relationship but rather a friendship which made our experience even more special. She showed up earlier than discussed to help set up (which was a major help!) and she was one of the last people to leave at the end of the night. When I was looking for a wedding coordinator, I was searching for a day-of coordinator & potentially someone for the rehearsal dinner, but that's all. Almost every coordinator I spoke with did not offer a service like this, the lowest tier that most offered was month-of coordination. Alyssa was the first person to offer me day-of coordination & also assistance at the rehearsal the day before the wedding. Although, she started phone calls and coordination for my wedding way before the day-of! She's truly a hard worker and someone who does not think that any specific task is outside of the scope of her position. She coordinated smoothly with my vendors and assisted with anything and everything that came up on the day of the wedding. She was also sweet enough to take home cases of wine + our leftover wedding cake to store at her house until we could pick them up the day after our wedding. Thanks again Alyssa!

She made sure everything went well, was very responsive, checked in often, and made sure everything ran smoothly.
