Preserving the memories you never want to forget
Disappointed & Very Upset/SadReviewed on 6/18/2013 Kimberly N
My husband and I booked Amitai and his wife to take the pictures for our wedding. His website looked great and we were excited because we did a package with 5 hours of coverage time and a free 8 x 11'' Canvas wrap with DVD for 750.00. About a month before our wedding we went to our wedding venue sight to pre-pick the spots we were going to have our pictures and we left that meeting so excited and we thought for sure that we had made the right choice. Then, I had e-mailed him 2 days before the wedding to let him know that it was supposed to rain all day and since we had chosen outside photos, what would be our back up. He responded and said "I have a rain hood for my camera and I will bring plenty of tarps". He had also sent us a shot list which is where he has a list of different photos that can be taken and you select the ones you want him to take example: silhoutte shot, shots of you and your bridesmaids getting married, mother of the bride putting in your veil etc. So the day of the wedding comes and he is an hour late, his assistant was 2 hours late. It was raining, and there was an accident on the freeway but at the same time all our other vendors drove an hour out to our venue and they were all on time. Then when it came time for some quick photos of the girls and I before I go to walk down the aisle, the first thing he says is "I forgot my rain hood" so we couldn't do any unsheltered photos bc of the rain. Anyway we still thought we would have good pictures. We got back from our honeymoon and he sent the pictures to us. Complete disaster!!! He said we would have 500 pictures and we only had 270. Of that there are about 50 that are actually good and worth printing. The rest are fuzzy, people body parts (my hand for example) is see through, the quality is terrible! He had no photos of my grandpa walking me down the aisle. No pictures of the whole ceremony (just one shot of the bridesmaids during the ceremony). No pictures of the garter toss, cake cutting, feeding each other cake, one of the groomsmen giving his toasts, a funny moment of guests bringing keys to the head table (groomsmen joke), and the list goes on. He missed 70 shots from the shot list he gave us that we wanted. The ones we do have are poor quality except a handful. He did give us a full refund which was the right thing to do. I am just really sad the most about not having the ceremony shots, the shots of my grandpa walking me down and the cake cutting. It makes me want to cry everytime I think about it, I can never get those moments back. All bc we went for price....
