our wedding. Let us say that she is a true professional. Andrea met with us on the phone multiple times and sent us a questionnaire form. With that information, she put together a detailed timeline of the entire wedding day and all of the important shots we wanted her to capture. On the day of the wedding, she was fantastic! She showed up at our hotel suite in the morning to capture the bridal party getting ready and then even drove to another location to capture the groomsmen and fathers getting ready. When we were doing our first look she gave us space to have our moment together but was still able to capture some excellent photos of us. Then during our ceremony, Andrea was able to capture all the important moments from the perfect angles. It was amazing how she was able to move around and know where to be at the right time. Later when we did our bride & groom sunset photos she did an excellent job making us feel comfortable and communicating to us how to pose for the beautiful shots we ended up getting. When we received our sneak peeks our friends and family were constantly remarking at how gorgeous the photos were, especially the landscape shots. We can not recommend Andrea enough! We never imagined our wedding photos would look this amazing!

wonderful (I hope all of the great portfolio shots get that across) and her style/communication/friendliness are top notch. We had a covid-delayed wedding, and she handled it without a hitch. ommodating and made us feel at ease about the whole process! Andrea is super organized! From the reminder of deadlines, contracts, and questionnaires, her website/links were always so user-friendly and straightforward, and it was so convenient that I was able to do everything online. For the actual wedding day, Andrea and her second shooter arrived on time and introduced themselves, and needed little to no direction on where and how to get started. She is a pro! I am not joking when I am saying Andrea is a ninja photographer. She moved swiftly and jumped through hoops to get the perfect shot. Home girl worked for booty off! She was also so great at directing us with what to do. She made two very awkward people feel natural in front of the camera! We also got sneak peek of about 20 pics within a couple of days after the wedding! I was so in awe. It took about 11 weeks before I got my full album delivered (which is to be expected per the contract), but let me tell you that the wait is worth it. There were times I wanted to ask what the status of the album was, but I didn't want to rush perfection. And I am glad I didnt :) My friends and family are still gushing about how beautiful the pictures turned out! My only regret with Andrea is not hiring her for longer! I hired her and her second shooter for 4 hours and was able to capture the getting ready pics, family pics, first look, ceremony, bride and groom pics, and cocktail hour. I wish I had hired her to cover the dances though (father/daughter, first dance, mother/son, etc), though. THANK YOU, Andrea! You are queen and just so amazing at your art :)

nd rainy day, and she made us look fantastic despite the fact that we were shivering and wet (and Andrea herself was standing in the rain without the luxury of an umbrella)... AND hair and makeup ran over so she only had half the expected time to capture some of those special moments. She's just GOOD. She has a real eye for capturing natural moments in a way that makes you look even better than your best, and she knows how to make colors pop. Could not recommend her more highly!

that one of my fiance’s co-workers mentioned his girlfriend was a photographer and that we should check her out. We stalked her on instagram and fell in love with her style! We immediately went about booking her for our engagement photos and wedding. Honestly, you can’t put a price on her talent; she blew us away with our engagement session. She even got in freezing mountain water with us to take the most romantic waterfall pictures you’ve ever seen; whatever you imagine in your head, she makes it happen. Our wedding happened during the Corona reign of terror, and during every single backup plan (literally 5 different plans) Andrea had our back 100%. Whatever we needed and whatever plans we changed she was there for us. We ended up having a small church/backyard wedding and she captured the whole thing like a fairytale romance movie. We got SO many compliments from guests saying how comfortable she made them and how she felt like she was one of the guests she blended in so well. There is no one in this NM region that can compare to her honestly, she is incredibly professional while also being a load of fun. She is worth every dang dollar and honestly I would have paid double for her amazing services. If you are thinking of booking her, do yourself a favor and go for it, I promise you won’t regret it!

Being a plus-sized couple I was worried our photos would not be flattering and would be at awful angles but of course that was not the case at all! Andrea was comfortable posing us and making us look fantastic for our shoot. When it came to our wedding day, Andrea was on-time, professional, and also a complete blast to work with! She was so comfortable navigating the wedding atmosphere and making sure that we got every single shot we needed. She had hired Wild Tea Photography to work as the second shooter on our day, and Kaitrin was an absolute rockstar as well and had some wonderful ideas for photos of me and my bridesmaids that I adore. Through out the day, Andrea and Kaitrin were all over the place, covering absolutely everything that went on. Our guests loved them both and so did we. I would gladly consider both of them dear friends at this point and could not be happier with our decision to hire Andrea. Our photographs were amazing. We haven't been able to choose favorites because every single photograph is stunning and brings me to tears. We are seriously the happiest we could imagine being with our photos.

s been warm, welcoming, informative, and professional. She was able work with our schedules and fit us in last minute for an engagement shoot (which we greatly appreciated). When we met up she took the time to sit down with us before our engagement shoot to find out more about what we were looking for and get to know us as a couple. Of course the day we chose to have our engagement shoot it was a bit rainy and overcast - we were initially concerned about having issues because of the weather but she was totally prepared and reassured us that the lighting was perfect. Andrea was happy to accommodate us bringing our dog and getting some pictures with him too. During our session she put us at ease, made us feel comfortable, was super helpful in getting both journalistic and posed shots, and had us feeling like we were in our own little bubble. Overall Andrea’s easygoing and fun manner made the day for us and we couldn’t have imagined a better experience. It honestly felt like hanging out with an old friend. Our engagement photos came out absolutely beautiful and we are going to cherish them always. We are so excited to have her capture our wedding next year because we know firsthand how amazing her work is. Her creativity, eye for detail, editing style, and sheer talent make her an amazing addition to anyone’s special day. We can’t wait to spend our wedding day with her. Thanks Andrea!

truly important: the people and the feels.  She genuinely captured who Jack and I are as a couple and for that, I am thankful.  Andrea cares about capturing people for who they are, which makes her photos uniquely beautiful and authentic.   We had a really fun engagement session with Andrea in November and then seeing her on our wedding day in September was like seeing an old friend!  Andrea was a joy to have around all day.  She will be your hype girl all day and she was so on point with all the pictures.  She was quick and organized when we did all the traditional pictures and she knew what to capture throughout the day.  We also love her editing style which is full of vibrant colors and dark contrast.  We had a pretty dark venue and she was able to capture it beautifully.  Thank you, Andrea, for being an amazing human being and for giving us photos that we will cherish for years to come!

sion in November at the beach, it was 40° out, but that didn’t stop us! Andrea knew it was what I wanted and she was able to get all the shots and keep us lively and full of energy even though we were FREEZING. We got married this past weekend and it was honestly like my friend was there taking my pictures. Andrea spent the whole morning with my bridal party and I. Chit chatting and getting to know us, while still taking pictures. It felt so comfortable and relaxed, which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day. When it came time to the first look, wedding party pictures, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception Andrea was right there to get all the pictures I wanted. I got the most compliments on how Andrea was so great to work with and so confident telling such large families exactly what to do and where to be. When it came time to take pictures at sunset it was nice to have time to be alone with my new husband and Andrea made us laugh and feel so comfortable. About 10 minutes after we were done with those pictures she came and got us again and showed us that the sunset had changed to a beautiful pink color and got even more shots! The last thing I’ll say is that Andrea makes being on a crowded dance floor with a large camera look like the most natural thing in the world. I can’t wait to work with her in the future!

en we got frustrated with what we were seeing locally, we expanded our search to the Northeast. We found Andrea from a recommendation of a recommendation of a recommendation (etc.) and immediately fell in love with her natural, beautiful imagery. We made a leap of faith based on that alone and our instincts were spot on! Not only are our wedding pictures amazing (which is something I was very concerned about), Andrea was a JOY to work with. The nicest vendor bar none. On our wedding day she put us to ease while also leading the photography with confidence and strength. s prompt to respond and gave me a few dates to choose from. We settled on a plan, and I have absolutely no regrets about my choice! She got to the site about an hour early and scoped out good spots for us to pose. The session was so incredibly fun. Her style is not to do pictures where you're posing or looking at the camera. She just lets you and your partner do your thing and somehow captures your personality into every photo. Before the session started my fiancé and I were both nervous about feeling awkward or being too PDA-y in public. She put us so at ease and we had the best time! Afterwards I continued communicating with her and she was able to get a few photos done quickly so we could order our save the dates. My only "complaint" is that I haven't been productive since she sent them to me, because I love them so much that I can't stop looking at them! :) Seriously, they're that good. The lighting is incredible and you can feel the love transcend the photos. I would highly recommend Andrea Van Orsouw Photography to anyone who is looking for a fun, casual session and pictures that truly show how much time and love she has poured into them. drea literally captured every moment of our day, and then some! It was so cool scrolling through the pictures reminiscing on things we saw happen during our day and we also got to see so many moments that we missed during all of the craziness! She was literally EVERYWHERE throughout the day and evening. I think I would need to sleep for an entire week after all of the running around and effort she put into our wedding day! I have known Andrea for a long time now and it was so cool to see her go from one of my teenage friends that would take goofy selfies with me after pulling all nighters to a professional wedding photographer!
