She was recommended to me by a friend who's sister had hired her for her wedding and I was blown away by the photos when looking through her album, and now mine too! She captures the photos in a way that make you feel like you're a fly on the wall reliving the day. We didn't have a videographer but I don't regret that decision one bit after receiving our photos. I didn't have a clear picture of what photos I wanted before hand, but Annamae did a fantastic job of capturing the moments I appreciated most. I just ordered a few prints of the photos she took, and they whisked me right back to that day.

nd Annamae was really able to show all that emotion within a single photo. During our engagement shoot, I was amazed by her ability to use dramatic, vast backdrops to highlight the warm and comfortable love between me and Matthew. And during our wedding, she did an amazing job of capturing those private moments without anyone even knowing she was there! Looking at each photo, you can feel movement, energy, and intimacy bursting out from between the four corners. Whether it was that perfect gaze as we exchanged vows, or the genuine whimsy as guests let loose on the dance floor, one can tell that Annamae really SEES you. It's something difficult to describe, when a picture is so much more because it tells such a story that it almost feels like a memory. So thank you, Annamae, for all of the memories. We will truly cherish them.

an get comfortable and accustomed to the photographer's style before the wedding. However, that did not take long with Annamae. She is so friendly, patient, and is always smiling! Prime example, she sprained her ankle (!!!) during our engagement shoot, but continued trekking along in the mountains with us without any complaints to ensure that she got us great shots. And did she ever! They were spectacular. Her photos have a very particular and special style to them, which is hard to articulate. The only words I can think of to describe the style is "warm" "cozy" and "richly colored". I love that she also includes landscape photos or close-ups of the scenery. I plan to use many of the scenery shoots as art around the house! There are so many incredible pieces to choose from. We got our wedding photos a few days ago, and we were blown away. We even realized that we didn't actually need a videographer, because the photos do such a great job of accurately depicting the love/fun/story of the day. The photos are so incredibly special and I couldn't be more grateful to have them. I feel like they will allow us to always remember the day exactly as it was. Annamae's talent is top notch. This, combined with her great spirit and reasonable prices (given the level of skill) make booking with her a no-brainer.

They are so easy and fun to work with, and accommodated our request to substitute the engagement photo session for photos of us and our guests at our rehearsal dinner cookout. I’m glad we did that because everyone at the cookout was wearing silly hats and the photos turned out so colorful and fun! It was also a great chance to get more casual shots of us together before the big day. The images Annamae and Keith took of us on our wedding day are simply our favorite photos ever. Their photographic style is wide-ranging from quirky to ethereal, romantic to playful, and the diversity of shots they took captured the magic of our big day from every angle. Highly recommended!

A word about their pictures- they are magical...just magical. I knew I had found someone who could tell a story of emotion when I looked through the photos and was in awe. I loved their journalistic style- it wasn't too overly edited/processed and was very fresh. From our very first meeting with them (they were cute newlyweds and gave us some great advice!!), they were incredibly accommodating, asked a ton of questions (the OCD in me rejoiced!), and were kind and personable. I could tell right away that they pay attention to little details, are great listeners, and care very deeply about their work. Everything you want in a wedding photographer - well that plus, the ability to make you look good in any lighting! Again, refer to their website and Instagram for proof of that as well, their pictures speak for themselves in how they work with natural and evening light. We booked them for our engagement session and wedding. When we got the pictures back from the engagement sesh it was truly monumental to see ourselves and the never before photographed garden in such a unique and dreamy way! The wedding day was no less great- they arrived on time, went around to all the different locations (our wedding day was all over the grid and they were totally OK with it!) and just shot and shot and shot...we got back so many wonderful images of moments that are now memories to be relived. I recall thinking, Geeeez, I hope they get it all! And they did! There are SO many shots that capture the wedding just as I imagined and planned it in my mind. I know it would be tacky to hang only wedding pictures of myself and my husband all over our home, but her pictures kinda make us want to do that. The photos are intimate and happy, yet tell the story of our love and take us back to the amazing feeling of the wedding day. I cant say enough to recommend them to anyone who needs a photog- my family loves them, I think my friends our jealous, and mostly, we have a treasure of photos from our engagement and wedding that we will look back on in 10, 20, 30 years and say Dang, that was one of the best decisions we made during that time! low much time for us to have many photos alone. The idea of doing a Day After Shoot was a perfect way to get some relaxed photos of just us without having the pressure of a wedding day timeline to follow. They were available! They picked us up in their rental car and we took them to our favorite spot up in the woods of Hope Valley, California near our wedding. I loved every moment of our shoot. They would pull their car over, take a few shots, help us get in pretty positions, and then we'd hop back into the car until they found another spot they fancied. The photos they took of us were so perfect, so relaxing and nicely presented on their website. It was so easy to download them and share with family. I am so thankful they were willing to come from Florida to Lake Tahoe to do a shoot with us. It was BEYOND worth it. We will absolutely be hiring them to do our baby shoot in a (FEW/MANY) years. ;)

have the most breath taking photos you will ever see and they were SUCH a joy to work with! Keith, Annamae's husband, actually got on his hands and knees for Annamae to stand on his back for her to get the angle she wanted. They both came overly prepared with ideas, poses, helpful hints, patience, creativity, and jokes. Not to mention their hardware! Our wedding day was made perfect by this company. I wish I could post some photos they took of us for you to see! They are worth every penny and more. stressful. I am glad that we did because I can't stop looking at them, and everyone I show them too is so complimentary. They have such a great eye for where to take the pictures. When I showed the pictures to our venue they said I didn't even know we had those flowers, and those are some of my favorite pictures. They were so easy to work with, they had no problem meeting me half way for our first meeting, and always responded quickly to emails. Everyone in our bridal party and family could not stop talking about how great Annamae & Keith were, and how lucky we were to have found them. are a ton of wedding photographers out there. However, many just start having the same feel and look to them. When I stumbled upon Annamae Photography, I knew it was unique. Her and Keith capture such unique angles, lighting and ambiance. Their style has a raw but polished element, a funky yet beautiful vibe and a natural while strategic intention. They really morph everything I wanted in a photographer. We had an engagement shoot at Dinosaur World and they managed to capture us with beautiful botanicals you would not have pegged as being off I-4. They also used lighting to give a feel of exploration and adventure. We were so thrilled. The wedding pictures, snapped at a glass gallery, embodied the artsy, edgy vibe of the venue. However, they all had a classic sophistication that will be timeless in our album. Most importantly is how sweet and fun they both are. You will not go wrong with this duo!

so I contacted her. From the moment I contacted her she was quick with all her responses, making me feel so comfortable. I couldn't wait to meet her in person. So the day came when it was time for a meeting to decide if this was the perfect match as I new it would be. She showed up and my fiancé and i felt as we had already known her and keith for years.. They made us feel comfortable and they were so professional with portfolio in hand and all!! It was a match.. I couldn't wait now for the big day. During the months leading up she keep in touch and letting me know to keep in touch if there's anything i suddenly think of that we would like her to photograph on the big day.. available! My fiancé and I decided on a package where we also got an engagement session as well as a second shooter (the lovely Keith.) My fiancé isn't big on getting pictures taken but they made us both feel so comfortable. On top of that it was one of the chilliest days of the year and they never complained, shared their sweaters and allowed us to relax and have a great time. A month later we got a disc with hundreds of gorgeous images. On the day of the wedding, they were on time and again, allowed us to completely relax. When my mom and sister were bugging them about certain shots they smiled through it, took the requested photos and then got the more creative shots she had in mind. Annamae has an eye for details that is truly out of this world. She is an artist and you can tell that she is passionate about what she does because it comes through in her gallery of work. We haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet, but I look forward to reliving our special day through her lens. If you are looking for a photographer that is talented, passionate, fun and just overall wonderful Annamae is your girl. Add to that her work is very reasonably priced.
