I was a nervous bride and I felt that my best decision was finding Whitney and Adriana. There was no way I could've done this myself, I was LOST. Thanks to Whitney, we found an AMAZING venue with polish and decor that fit our budget. And Adriana held my hand through the whole night. We had a very tight budget and these ladies made sure we stuck to it. They went above and beyond and I'm so thankful that they were able to help me pull it off.
These Ladies were the glue that held my wedding together. If I had to do it all over again, they're one of maybe 2 vendors I wouldn't even think for a second, of replacing.
Whitney held our hand and made us understand everything from top to bottom.
If you are debating a planner, stop. Just get one, even if it's a lighter package. Then, give these ladies the opportunity to talk to you, ask you questions and answer yours. You'll thank yourself, like I did.
I purchased the "day-of" package with Whitney and Adriana and I'm SO glad that I did. The ladies were incredible - helped with our vision, timeline and coordinated everything weekend of, from the rehearsal to loading the car at the end of our wedding night. If you're considering hiring a wedding planner, I highly recommend it. It created such piece of mind and it was so nice to have the ladies there day-of.
Whitney and Adriana were great to work with!! I had such a blast planning my wedding and having her along for the ride made it feel like I was working with a friend and not a vendor. My name is Jake and I am part of the band Sunny and The Black Pack. We recently performed at a wedding with Adriana Valentine of A’reve Event Production and it was hands down one of the most positive experiences we have ever had.
Communication, consistency and attention to detail are the most important characteristics an event planner can have, from a vendors point of view, and Adriana excelled in all three. From the initial contact, her prompt responsive with clear and accurate information was a blessing and made our lives so much easier. On the day of the event, every interaction was met with a smile, followed by a calm and confident response. Through out the entire process we could not detect even an ounce of stress coming from her.

A’Reve Event Production absolutely exceeded our expectations for a special Mad Men themed birthday party. We wanted to host a party in rather short notice and unable to do any of the research ourselves or contact vendors. We really had no idea what we were doing, but wanted this party to be amazing…and that’s exactly what they were able to do for us. We were referred to Whitney Valentine of A’Reve Event Productions and after one phone call she was able to design a party that was within our budget and so beautifully executed. All we had to do was show up. Her production team researched our theme and coordinated Mad Men themed food, entertainment, music as well as a photo booth with 60s style lounge furniture where they created an outdoor lounge under twinkling lights reminiscent of a 60s holiday party along with tinsel Christmas trees. Whitney knew exactly what the party needed and our guests are still raving about it with many commenting that it was the best party they have ever been to. We HIGHLY recommend A’Reve Event Productions for your event planning needs. We will most certainly be using them again.

Whitney & Adriana are the best! They are super sweet and when I first talked to Whitney, I knew she was the caterer I wanted to go with. She always went above and beyond to help me, not just the food selections, but with wedding decor, finding vendors, etc. Throughout the entire process they were both very responsive and friendly and I wish I had hired them to do my wedding planning as well!
Throughout the entire wedding her and her staff were great. Everyone loved the bartenders and they worked hard to get the drinks out fast! At the end of the night, we couldn't find my dad's car keys and Whitney stayed until we found them, even though we kept insisting she leave (she had a long drive back home). That just shows her true character and how much she really cares about her clients.
Look no further! Seriously! My husband convinced me three months before the wedding we needed a planner and I am so happy I listened. Our initial phone conversation with Whitney was amazing. She answered all of our questions honestly and even offered a lot of insight to things we hadn't even thought of-all before we even hired her. Adriana and Whitney are very quick to respond to emails, even if you have the silliest questions. I knew we were in good hands at all times of the planning process. The day of went very smoothly. I honestly have no idea if anything went wrong because Adriana handled everything. I barely had to include myself in any of the details and was able to enjoy every moment of the day. I cannot say enough good things about these two. Thank you for being apart of our special day!

We had the pleasure of working with Adrianna as our wedding day planner at my daughter wedding in Sept. 4, 2016 in Sonoma. She was a joy to work with and responded in a very timely matter. I love love love these ladies. So I wanted to get married with pumpkins but not "Halloweenish". So I called around and everyone was super dry and unprofessional and just giving me prices. Whitney was the only one that interviewed me, asked me about the groom, asked me about how i envisioned my dream wedding. No one had done that. That's what really stood out to me. WE BOOKED HER.
I didn't really want to be stressed out with wedding stuff since we had just moved to a new city, new job and building a new Business.
They did everything I wanted and let me be my crafty self as well. The whole process was so easy , I was usually always late and they never got mad at me, and they usually met me with the most positive attitude.
THE WEDDING :
Perfection. My pumpkins were beautiful, my decorations were amazing, and seriously they did everything. She even helped me go to the bathroom. LOL! True story.
Wedding planning is so stressful but they made it to where it was a walk in the park. Get Whitney! Get Adrianna ! Make sure you put them in your budget. It's worth it !

As the mother of the bride, I wanted my daughter’s wedding to be everything she had dreamed of, and with the expertise of Whitney and Adriana, it was! From helping us choose an exceptional venue (The Observation Post at the Presidio), to introducing us to talented and top quality vendors, to providing us with an amazing chef and delicious menu, everything came together beautifully. Best of all, on the day of the wedding, my daughter and I were completely relaxed and able to thoroughly enjoy each and every moment of getting ourselves ready, as Whitney and Adriana and their team put everything together for the wedding and reception. Whitney and Adriana were absolutely amazing! We made some VERY last minute changes (changed our wedding venue a month before the wedding day!) but they did a great job of putting everything together perfectly. I basically had nothing to do the week before the wedding because of them! Whitney was always so calm throughout the wedding day which really helped me stay stress free. They have worked with our photographer Jeff Hall many times and you can just tell that the familiarity with each other made things go a lot smoother as well. Overall, highly highly highly recommend them!
Whitney and Adriana were more than I could have asked for. They were incredible to work with and made the entire planning process not only smooth, but so much fun! We had a great time collaborating on design elements, talking through logistics and fine tuning every last detail. They truly went above and beyond. A'Reve, Whitney and the whole team are not only true proffesionals but they also have a passion to make sure everything is done to perfection with the least amount of stress. The result was one of the most special events I've ever been to creative, intimate (even with 100 guests), lots of fun and all the guests were left wanting more.
The team were easy to deal with and came with an endless supply of great ideas and practical suggestions.
They specialize in high-end weddings and events, but given the service we got, with no hassle at all, they are great value for money.
I would use them again and would recommend them to any one wanting to organize a special event.
From the first time we met Whitney and Adriana, we knew they were going to be our wedding planners. We needed someone who could get keep us on track, plan all the little details, and simply get our wedding done without much stress. Since this is our first wedding, we didn't know what we didn't know!
They were exactly the type of personality that fit our criteria. We were involved when we wanted to be involved which was perfect for us. If there was a vendor we didn't want to deal with, Whitney and Adriana would make sure it got done.
They are also excellent designers. We gave them a theme, a few pictures, a few styles, and they took it from there. Only after walking into the ceremony and reception, did *I* realize much effort and attention to detail A'Reve put into the event.
The day of the wedding everything went smoothly. We didn't find out until later one of our cakes didn't show up but they handled it without our knowledge. Although I'm positive there were many hiccups the day of (what wedding doesn't?), the event went perfectly from my wife and my perspective.
I would recommend A'Reve to anybody planning a wedding.
Whitney & Adriana put together such a beautiful day that not only my husband and myself loved, but all of our friends and family as well. Everything exceeded what I thought it was going to be & I can truly say it was the best day of my life thanks to the help of them. All our guests absolutely loved every single detail! Bottom line they both did an outstanding job, making the day so easy for me (and as a bride this is IMPORTANT!). I'd highly recommend A'Reve Events to everyone I know.

I've had the pleasure of working with Whitney and Adriana on many events over the past year and I can't express how much I love these gals! They are completely on top of every last detail, communicating with me on any and all updates as well as having an extremely good eye for decor and keeping up with all the new trends. They make the impossible possible, whether it be staying up all night to make sure the every last facet is in place or finding that rare feature you were hoping to display at your event. Planning an event, especially I wedding can be immensely stressful without these two by your side! There is only good things to say about these ladies and I would recommend them to anyone I know.
Adriana and her team were incredible to work with. As a wedding videographer (Matter Video), I get the chance work with a lot of planners and coordinators, but A'Reve is at the top of the class. The wedding I worked with them (at a private airport) was extremely unique and required a lot of coordination. Their team handled every detail and helped arrange one of the more magical weddings I have ever been a part of. We love them! Highly recommended.
This review is only based on the venue and day of event planning services. Unfortnately my husband and I could not afford Whitney's event planning services, but I'm sure if we used her she would have done an amazing job!
We fell in love with the property the moment we saw it. This was the perfect do it yourself venue which left a lot of room for imagination. We were able to rent the house for the entire weekend and have the rehearsal dinner and day after breakfast on the property. This was perfect because with my big fat Greek family everyone is invited to everything! This was my first time (and last) planning a wedding and trying to stay with in a budget. Whitney was very helpful answering questions and coming up with ideas to make our vision fit on her property. She graciously met with my family on multiple occasions to go over pricing details before we actually committed to the venue. My biggest concern was what would happen if it rains and of course all of my worry brought a heat wave and made for a perfect evening. Even though our wedding turned out exactly how I wanted it to, it was a lot of work! I would definitely recommend paying for Whitney's services if you can afford it.
Our wedding was an incredible experience for my wife and I. We had so much anticipation and excitement leading up to our big day. Working with Whitney and Adriana from A'Reve made our spirits settled in a calm confidence that the day would be as wonderful as we dreamed it up to be. I here from friends and family that in past wedding experiences, the weeks leading up to the day were stressful and tense. Absolutely the best experience ever!!! I found myself having the most stressful time and then a friend referred me to Whitney at A'Reve and my life instantly was better in planning my wedding. If you think you can handle it yourself... you may be fooling yourself! I know I was! Whitney is the best! I felt like she was a family member assisting me. I have had the opportunity to be at a few events that A’Reve planning was contracted for and I am so impressed with Whitney and her company. I pay attention to detail and the “flow" of the event. The company is so detail oriented in fun, unique ways that were noticeable and that added flare. It is obvious they take time to plan, prepare and commit to excellence. Guests were commenting and enjoying the details,ambiance and energy of the evening. It is clear they have a remarkable team as every last detail was taken care of, including all the behind the scene stuff that really makes a difference. On both occasions, the evening was obviously planned to attune to a lovely ryythm where it all flowed so nicely. It wasn’t choppy or there wasn’t long pauses of waiting for what is next. The guests had mentioned several times how wonderful the evening was and how memorable it was. This really stood out to me. This company knows what they are doing and they do it with such passion and commitment. I am ‘wowed’!
Adriana and Whitney were fantastic to work with. They were super easy to get in touch with when I had last-minute questions about Janal and Eric's wedding in Brentwood. Everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding, and they were accommodating and flexible with the timing of events that made my job as the couple's photographer easier. The wedding was beautifully executed and I would recommend them to any bride looking for reliable, professional and fun planners to trust their special day with.

I am a professional wedding photographer serving the Bay area as well as the Sacramento markets. I had the pleasure of working with A'Reve Event Planning & Design on a wedding at the Berkeley Botanical Gardens just recently. It seems a lot of my weddings are more venue oriented event planners for just the time of the reception. When I heard my couple hired A'Reve Event Planning & Design, I was excited to know a professional was going to keep things on time and organized.throughout the whole day. I was delighted when the wedding was executed exactly the way it was intended and no glitches had to be worked around. A'Reve Event Planning & Design was on top of everything and the bonus was they were a delight to work with. They smiled they kept the tone light and they were organized. Kudos to A'Reve Event Planning & Design.
Sarah's wedding in Emeryville- Aug, 30, 2015, an occasion which our company provided videography services to the couple. The main take away from working with Adrianna was- She truly loves what she does. Our experience with Adriana began 2 months before the event when she initiated phone and email correspondence, communicating updates, addressing questions we had.
On the day of, she was warm from the beginning and would prove to be quite the worker bee. Actively engaged with guests, bridal party, and vendors at every stage of the event, Adriana's leadership put everyone at ease, especially Pat and Sarah (whom I can ensure you had a magical time!).
I wasn't going to originally review, but she asked me to review the place about 5 times. so here we go. Review is only for similar parties as mine. Maybe it's great if you don't plan on doing the following:
- having over a 100 guests
- want candles
- want to use your own caterer
- need extra coordination/suggestions by the facility on order of wedding.
- need the kitchen
- want to use the entire house
- need an emergency plan. like heat lamps. unless you want to shell out a ton more money, don't count on her helping you out or reacting to that.
If you do, choose another venue. Why?
- Fairly certain she had never had a large wedding there, maybe never had over 100 ppl there. the parking situation was a nightmare. She mandated that we have 3 valets that we had to pay for. These guys were not getting guests through. people even if they were early, parked on the road and ran into the wedding just so they could see some of the wedding. horrible
- Whitney made a comment to me that "it annoyed her so much when candles weren't lit". day of = not. a. single. candle. lit. when asked why? shrugged shoulders...??
- the kitchen/stove broke down. THE KITCHEN BROKE DOWN. no one got food on time. all food came about 3 hours after dinner started. caterer and facility flaw, but the caterer went above and beyond to make it up to us. On a side note, we found this caterer ourselves. which was obviously not her friend/recommendation. she kept saying bad things like she got sick etc. about our caterer even though we gave the one she kept recommending 2 opportunities to wow us. and on top of us doing all the work for that, she made our caterers pay her a finders fee. not cool.
- she did not tell the men to walk out prior to the women. in fact, she did very little in terms of instructing which makes me think she had never done this before. based on the other reviews, it's obvious she has done this before, so maybe she was just having a very off day.
- nickeled and dime-d everything.
- originally said we could use the house prior to us renting. week before wedding said it would be another 2K to use her house.
Here are some positives:
- beautiful property
- owner is nice
- very flexible. you can do a lot with it. just be ready to pay for everything and anything you want to do.
- has great lighting (we installed those for her)
My husband and I got married at Whitney's estate in August of last year. Our wedding turned out SO beautiful, the venue looked picture perfect and the wedding photos turned out amazing. On top of that Whitney and Adriana were SO great. Whitney really made sure that everything was running smoothly at all times and even helped iron out a few hiccups that inevitably occurred on the way. They really went the extra mile to make sure our day turned out picture perfect. Thank you so much ladies for all you have done, our wedding turned out better than I could have ever imagined! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue to have their wedding at.
Whitney and Adriana did an outstanding job on our wedding in August. We had somewhat of a challenging situation because the first wedding planner we worked with was unable to keep the project moving professionally or close loops with vendors and contacts properly. Midway through the project, we finally cut the other person loose. Whitney and Adriana to the rescue. They assessed the situation and helped us assemble the pieces we didn't already have in place, like the officiant, flowers, limo, makeup, etc. The vendors they recommended were excellent and very competitively priced. I was especially happy with the flowers. That was an aspect of the wedding that I didn't care as much about--I knew I wanted the necessary bouquets and arrangements, etc., but I didn't want anything extravagant, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money and time on it. W and A showed my pinterest board to their recommended florist, who came up with a beautiful, economic package that hit all of my requirements, including a flower wand for the flower girl. I met with the florist exactly once, and was thrilled with the concept arrangement he had put together. On the day of, we had exactly the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and arrangements we needed, that worked beautifully with the other elements, at a price I was extremely happy with. Score! Likewise, their day-of coordination was excellent. I know there were snafus (there always are, esp. with a tight timeline like ours) but they made everything happen as it should, even when that required some improvisation. I especially remember being worried about our first dance because my tulle skirt kept catching my heels. Adriana whipped out a needle and thread and in 5 minutes, she and my bridesmaids had repaired the dress and we had a beautiful first dance. These guys are rockstars!
I could not have asked for a better team than the A'Reve Event team! They were with me from start to finish and handled every detail which completely relieved me of any stress.

Whitney and her team did a amazing job last September for my wedding. It was elegant and everything I wanted and dreamed about!! She was so gracious helping me and ensuring my dream came to life. She also kept me calm and took a lot of the pressure off me. I am so grateful I met her and she was able to be apart of my wonderful, magical day! You are crazy if you do not allow this talented, kind hearted, truly elegant person help you with what is one of the most special and important day of your life!
Whitney and her team did a great job helping my wife and I plan and execute our
wedding. Being the groom, I felt Whitney asked my opinion when really needed,
but handled all the little details with my wife, knowing that wasn't my forte. I
really appreciated that because I felt involved, but not pressured to look at 50
different centerpiece options. She was well organized and I'd highly recommend
her for any upcoming events.
We got married at Tassajara Estate, a venue that A'Reve coordinates. The venue is beautiful! The perfect space to have any style of wedding. Ours was rustic, winery, elegance and it came together perfectly! We appreciate Whitney and Adriana's day of coordination. The rentals and linens were just what we asked for and envisioned for the space. All of our family and friends loved the venue, the food, and had a wonderful time at our wedding!
We are still getting compliments on our August 29th, 2015 wedding! We hired Whitney and Adriana last year to help us with our special day. It was at a private residence so we were in need of quite a bit of assistance and we are so happy with all of the help, recommendations, and day of coordination! As we know weddings can be extremely stressful, but they made the planning process and the day of so easy for us.
Whitney and Adriana helped us find almost all of the vendors and we couldn’t have received more compliments. We loved the DJ, officiant service, rentals, florist, and caterer! Everybody they sourced was amazing. They brought everything together on the day of and it was more than we could have imagined!
We had our 3 day Wedding at the Tassajara estate 7/17 this year. Our guest were blown away about how beautiful the venue was, we are still being complemented by it. Such a magical place that would make any type of event breathtaking. Whitney and her team are beautiful people that made having our reception a breeze. Always pleasant to deal with! They are very accomodating , they catered to our needs and very helpful to ensure your events was memorable. I would highly recommend Whitney and her team to anyone and hope to have future events at their beautiful estate.

We are still coming down from the wedding bliss we all have from my daughter's wedding. Friday September 11th, 2015!! What a dream come true. I have 4 children. Only one wanted to have a fairy tale-dream like wedding. Well Whitney and Adriana (the A'Reve Events "dream team") made it happen big time! I am still getting compliments about the wedding. Weddings are absolutely the most stressful thing. I really wanted to enjoy the day, so at the suggestion of a friend we hired Whitney and Adriana. It was by far the best decision we could have made. The day was beyond my wildest dreams! The ladies took care of every single detail, and a few I didn't even think of. I also really appreciated that they thought outside of the box. I got married at Tassajara (Whitney's venue) on May 11th of this year. First, the venue is beautiful! Whitney made sure the grounds were perfectly kept, and went above and beyond to make sure I had roses at the ceremony site. As a DIYer, Whitney was the BEST to bounce ideas off of, letting me know right away what would work at Tassajara, and what wouldn't. She worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted, a great eye for design and detail. Throughout the day, Whitney made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. During cocktail hour, the bar had to be moved. Sounds stressful, but Whitney handled it with ease, and let me take photos without stressing me out. MAJOR PLUS! I don't plan on getting married again, but if I did I would use Whitney in a heart beat.
