Located in Mount Vernon, OH, Ariel-Foundation Park is a stunning and historic outdoor wedding destination. Hosting over 265 acres, this park is a unique destination in central Ohio. Once home to the Pittsburgh Plate Glass company, this landscape features homages to the glass-making masters. Elements of these include buildings and structural remains, punctuated with earth terraces, lakes, woods, and sculptures. Personal attention is key to this venue's staff. They aim to cater to couples’ needs while holding functions in any one of the on-site event locations. There are four indoor locations as well as two picnic pavilions. For those wanting something a bit different, Mavis Island and The Ruins are also available. The Schnormeier Event Center has over 17,000 square feet that may be used for an event. In total, it can accommodate up to 2,000 wedding guests. From banquets to concerts, this event center can be the ideal spot. Two large pavilions may be of interest when planning an occasion at this park. The Park National Bank Pavilion holds up to 256 guests at a time. Alternatively, Kiwanis Pavilion is suitable for a cozy function hosting 40 guests. Elsewhere, the Community Foundation Pavilion uses the structure left behind by the Pittsburgh Plate Glass carpenter’s shop. Dating back to 1945, this building offers a historical backdrop and holds up to 175 people. The on-site museum, The Urton Clock House, also provides ample space for celebrations. Up to 70 guests can enjoy its year-round heating and cooling. Just around the corner is the Rastin Observation Tower, an exciting point of interest for any visiting group. The team at Ariel-Foundation Park is pleased to work with couples as they plan their big day. Selections may be made from a presented a la carte menu, including chairs, tables, and setups. For services that are not covered by staff, a listing of preferred vendors is available. Outside vendors are also welcome. Whatever choices a couple makes, this crew is ready and capable of ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
