Aaron is a career video producer and camera operator who professionally began his journey when he enlisted in the United States Navy in 2007 as a Mass Communications Specialist, producing video journalism and being awarded the Navy's Best New Broadcaster award in 2008. After ending his 5 years of service, Aaron enrolled and graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art with a BFA in Photography and Video. He has worked as a full time federal employee (as a video content producer) and his highest accolades (so far) are filming weddings with the illustrious Marcy Blume wedding planning company, rolling camera for some the world's most elevated weddings.

Aaron worked with us so thoroughly before and up through our wedding day to ensure all of our wishes were met through our film. His personality and eye for the moment is amazing. From the moment i met him the morning of our wedding, i remember saying “i could be friends with this guy” because he treated us as a friend and was truly our biggest hype man. He also made our day so smooth as well as worked alongside our photographer like they were a team from the beginning. I cannot be more pleased with each one of our films we’ve received. I highly recommend Aroe films for ANY video needs but especially on your wedding day, you won’t regret it!

Aaron was amazing!! Him and his wife both came to work on our wedding, and they were such a breeze to work with. They captured every important moment, and then some! He delivered an amazing 10 minute film to us just a month after the wedding, and he was incredibly receptive to small details that we wanted added or changed. He is in the process of making us a longer, 90-minute edit of the entire day, and I cannot wait to see it! I'd recommend him to anyone.

We cannot recommend AROE Films enough! Aaron truly exceeded our expectations. We had a vision for our wedding video to feel instantly timeless and finding a videographer who offered this style felt like a long shot. Aaron’s use of 8mm film brought such a magical, vintage feel to our wedding video. We couldn’t have been happier to find someone who could weave the old and the modern. Watching the final footage felt like stepping into a nostalgic memory. It’s exactly what we dreamed of and more.

I decided the last couple months before that my daughter’s wedding needed a videographer and looked on The Knot. I reached out to a handful of videographers and they were nice and responded quickly but I did not feel a connection. However, I was very impressed with Aaron (Aroe Films) by his speedy initial contact, a great vibe/energy, his patience with all my motherly type questions, sense of humor, was reasonably priced and worked with me on a payment plan so it was more manageable.
Aaron’s professionalism shined through when we were nearing our time with him and he was willing to stay longer to film the costume contest for my daughter, since that was the icing on this wedding cake and to top off a perfect day.
I sat and cried (many viewings) of the Instagram Teaser which truly captured my daughter’s and now son’s love for each other, their personalities and the beautiful outdoor ceremony. We have not gotten the feature film but if it is anything like the “teaser” then it will be phenomenal!
Thank you so much Aaron, who knows we may be working again together, after all there are two more single ladies in the family!

Aaron is absolutely amazing! We were on the fence of getting a videographer but went to grab coffee with him and knew that he was a perfect fit for us. He is very personable, funny, professional, and made our wedding day/night a blast. On top of all that, he made the best highlight film and video to capture our day! The camera/audio quality was also insane! We will recommend Aaron to everyone we know.

Not only is Aaron a total professional, prompt in communication, reliable, and a joy to work with (and a pro at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera).... but the custom wedding video he created for us is already a treasured family heirloom 6 months after the wedding.
Aaron is not your average Cleveland videographer - he is the kind of artist you'd usually only find in a place like NYC or LA. When we first got in touch with him and explained our vision for a "retro style wedding video" (i.e. less focused on the instagram reel and more focused on capturing timeless memories of us, the day, and our friends and family) he was totally on board and delivered something beyond our wildest dreams.
We were originally on the fence about hiring a videographer for the wedding as we were careful with our budget, but I am so glad we found Aaron. The wedding day goes so quickly; Aaron's video helped us remember every last detail and see all the fun our guests had before the ceremony, at cocktail hour, and on the dancefloor since we couldn't be everywhere all at once.
I know Aaron's work will age like fine wine and I am excited to make an annual tradition of watching it every anniversary.

Aroe Films is an absolute 10/10! We hired Aaron to shoot our wedding out of state and couldn’t have been more impressed with his professionalism and ability to go with the flow of the day. He captured some of my most cherished moments from the day beautifully—from our first look to grandpa being an absolute ham in the photo booth. We were happy we went with the full day of coverage and drone for an amazing film that we feel like captures the spirit of our day and that we look forward to watching each year to come. I cannot recommend Aaron and his services enough.

Aaron shot our wedding on 10/7 of this year, and our film is absolutely gorgeous! Everything from the planning process to the day of the wedding went smoothly and communication was easy! We LOVE our film and watched it multiple times. We even cried when we watched it. It felt like Aaron was there capturing everything, but we never noticed him and it never felt intrusive. He was so friendly on the day of and made everyone feel comfortable. I am already recommending Aaron to some of my friends who are getting married next year. I am so happy I made the decision to go with him! We will treasure our video forever.

Aaron was wonderful for our wedding. He was professional the day of and knew exactly what to do from the moment he arrived until the end of the night. His communication up to the day of the wedding was great. We got to share all of the details we wanted him to capture. When we got our final result we were ecstatic! It was very clear he spent time making the video perfect for us. The transitions are seamless and the footage has a little bit of everything. We also purchased the full day video which he edited beautifully as well. We would hire Aaron all over again!

Wow! Where do I start? Aaron was the perfect mix of professional and fun. He came dressed to impress and didn't make me feel like I was just 'another bride' or our day was just 'another wedding'. He seamlessly melded into our day and created an absolute piece of art. I truly love that he opened our video with a drone shot of our venue. He captured beautiful candid moments as well as curated some artful moments for us throughout the day. I can't give him or his work enough praise. Now, we have an unforgettable video to reflect on one of our most treasured days.

We were fortunate enough to have Aaron as our filmmaker for our vow renewal. As former wedding photographers, 26 years in the industry, we were impressed by Aaron's technical finesse and use of his top notch equipment. But even more, his passion for his art, and easy going vibe during a stressful event put everyone at ease. His wonderful edit of the final product created a family heirloom for the ages. Aaron Roe was recommended to us by a family friend and we are so grateful to have been able to book him for our daughter’s wedding! Aaron is both talented with his artistic eye as well as thoughtfully professional in his dealings and demeanor, which after planning two weddings we did not usually find that perfect combination in other vendors. As for the finished wedding video, I still get chills when I watch it and it brings back all the happy memories from the wedding day. I was also able to hire Aaron for a large event that I direct, and he did a wonderful job capturing the excitement of the day on that project as well. I highly recommend ARoe Films as a videographer for any special event that you want to preserve and share.

Aaron did our wedding videography 4 years ago. Each year on our anniversary we watch the memories he helped us create and still get overcome with happiness and love. He has great attention to detail which captured many of the small things we may have otherwise slowly forgotten about our day. He was with us from the beginning of the day and his calming, laid back attitude made a huge difference to a stressed bride. He is professional and makes everyone involved feel comfortable. I know many times now there is a debate on whether or not to do professional video with your wedding, but with Aaron the answer is 100% yes and I am so glad we will always have his videos to look back on and be reminded of our best day ever.
