My now husband and I flew to MD to take our engagement photos. Allowing us the opportunity to get comfortable with both her and the camera. Our interaction with her was as if we we’re hanging out with a friend taking our pictures. At this point, we knew we made the right choice by booking her. On the BIG day, Ashleigh was here in Cali and in game mode. She was everywhere, shooting photos of everything. Multiple people thought she was a friend or family member shooting - that’s how friendly and comfortable she was. She moved around the wedding, commanding organizations and cooperation for shots when needed. We loved and appreciated it. Our photos came back so fast and are PERFECT!!!!! Every time I look at the photos (which is often) I am literally reliving my wedding day all over again. I sat and cried at how beautiful they were the first time I saw them. Our wedding day was perfect and Ashleigh is partially responsible. We love her and she will always have a special place in our hearts.

Some of the wedding party are not the most at ease in front of a camera, but she made us feel really comfortable. I also loved her ability to capture the candid moments throughout the day. Her photos help bring back all the amazing memories made and shed light on ones we missed. weddings are a special time in a person's life and treated ours as such. During the engagement session we felt so comfortable and had so much fun that we didn't want it to end. She was awesome during the actual wedding going above and beyond the duty of a photographer. She captured moments so that even if you weren't there you see and feel the emotion as if you were. Her positive vibes helped to calm any anxiousness I was feeling about things not going right on our big day. Turn around time for the final images was very quick also. She was probably the only vendor I never had to worry about or ask for anything or tell to do anything, she did her thing without any direction that day. She worked with me during the planning process to get everything she needed for the day, including a list of pictures I wanted, formals my mom wanted, and wishes of me and Don. We didn’t want to take first look pics, and she made it work for us, and we did first touch pictures that came out BEAUTIFUL. Even our engagement pictures were exactly how I imagined, and VERY fun. When we laughed in pictures, it wasn’t staged, she was really making us laugh. One thing I noticed during our engagement shoot was that she took pictures when we looked the most natural, something I don’t see very often, and appreciated. The main reasons I’d recommend Ashleigh are the quality of her work and her professionalism as a photographer. You truly feel like you are in great hands with her. The one thing I’d say will help you make the best of your time working with her, is to really listen to her recommendations, while still making her tips your own. Something as small as her suggesting one of us wear a pop of color during engagement photos really made a huge difference and I would definitely say is one of her signature moves. She’s AMAZING!

Not only was she a photographer that day, she was a friend. She made sure I re-focused when I got caught up in all the hiccups of that day, and she calmed my nerves when needed. Ashleigh also worked well with the coordinator to execute the sequence of events for the day. We received our wedding photos within 2 weeks of our wedding day, which is record timing for most photographers. We were blown away by the final results! I have nothing but praise for Ashleigh's skills, creativity, and work ethic. She is truly one of a kind. My hubby and I will be forever grateful to her for capturing the most important day of our lives.
