Such an amazing band! Very easy to work with, professional and so talented. Everyone had fun on the dance floor all night and they played a nice variety of songs. This band was one of the things I was complimented the most about during my wedding, and everyone wanted to know where I found them. Don't hesitate to book them.

Ashley and The Cosmos were a complete blast at our wedding!! Not only did they take care of everything from start to finish - but they kept everyone on the dance floor from start to finish of our reception! I will never forget when they spontaneously ended our wedding with Piano Man (we didn't have a song request) and our entire reception of people created a massive circle around us as we all sung in unison. Really, they were SUPERB! Highly, highly recommend!

Ashley and the Cosmos truly brought my wedding together and made it happen! Our whole wedding was on my parent's property and having Ashley be able to take care of music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, DJ'ing, and live music couldn't have been more perfect! Ashley 100% took the stress away from coordinating timing and picking out music. We told her a few songs we really wanted to hear and they took the playlist from there! I was so thankful I didn't have to pick out every song for the evening! After they provided DJ music for entrance, cake cutting, and special dances the 3 hours of live music started and DID NOT STOP! They rocked the night away and had everyone on the dance floor. My family and friends are still talking about how awesome the band was! Ashley and Tim even coordinated for my aunt and cousin to sing during the ceremony to their pianist! I may be biased to my own wedding, but I don't think any wedding could ever top a night with Ashley and the Cosmos!

The exact wedding band experience we hoped for! Ashley was very accommodating and kind every step of the way. They had great energy throughout the entire night, keeping the crowd lively and engaged throughout the reception! They were also great at playing our chosen songs from YouTube during the ceremony. I have been to a few weddings with live bands and absolutely no one compares to Ashley and The Cosmos. They were so fabulous and made my husband's and my wedding such a blast!! They were so accommodating in playing our first dance as husband and wife live and it sounded amazing. Not only are Ashley and her husband amazing singers, the band is composed of truly talented musicians. I was blown away by them. I booked them because they were so highly reviewed and they completely went above and beyond my expectations. Wedding guests are still talking about how much they loved Ashley and The Cosmos! So if any of you out there are worried about booking them without listening to them first, don't be. Trust me. They will not disappoint. They helped make my wedding a dream come true, and I thank them for that from the bottom of my heart.

While searching reviews and listening to clips of bands throughout the Dayton and Cincinnati area, we stumbled across Ashley and the Cosmos and were ecstatic to hear that they were willing to travel to Dayton, OH for our May wedding. We had been searching for a band that could play a mix of both current and classic dance songs to keep the dance floor going all night and they did not disappoint! So many of our guests have commented on the band and how much fun they had dancing at the reception. They went above and beyond throughout the process -- Ashley was accessible to answer any questions that came up and our planning session before the wedding made me feel 100% confident that everything would run smoothly! After the wedding, Ashley even sent me some of the videos that she and Tim had taken during the night. If you are on the fence about booking a band for your wedding, book Ashley & the Cosmos now before a talent agent discovers them and they start touring nationally!

We absolutely loved having Ashley and the Cosmos at our wedding. They did a phenomenal job from the ceremony music through keeping the party going into the night. The best compliment I can give them is that I watched the video from our videographer recently and was still loving listening to the music even long after the wedding was over. My husband and I chose Ashley and The Cosmos after reading rave reviews. Now I'm about to be one of the ravers... don't even read the rest of this just BOOK NOW! They were a delight to work with. We got married on our lake property in Northern Indiana, about 3.5 hours north of Indianapolis. Ashley drove all the way up just to check out the venue and make sure we had all of our ducks in a row. She was constantly in contact with us whenever we had a question or change in our details. Their 'customer service' is incredible. BUT most importantly... they rocked it at our wedding! Ashley thought that we may have a few transitional issues and asked us if it was okay if they could take the reigns and control the flow. I am so glad they did! All of our guests have asked us about them and haven't had a bad thing to say. They even let my husband play with them for a song! Ashley and The Cosmos were hands down the best wedding band I have ever heard. Ashley and The Cosmos traveled from Indy to Cleveland for our wedding day and they were incredible. Easy to work with, flexible and addressed all questions and concerns we had. They arrived early to configure the acoustics properly since that was a major concern for us. Once they started playing, they didn't stop and neither did the party. I literally danced the entire night. I would highly recommend Ashley and The Cosmos you will not be disappointed!

One of the best parts of our wedding! The band kept the dance floor packed the entire night. I am not sure how they have the energy to play non-stop for almost 4 straight hours, but they do. Great music for the ceremony and cocktail hour too. And on top of that they were great MCs. Wouldn't have changed a thing. Hire them!

All night long and in the days after the reception, our family and friends kept saying the same thing - best band ever at a wedding reception. Like the other reviews I've read, the dance floor was full for the 3 straight hours that they played. Even my 87 year-old father with knee replacements was dancing. They truly do a great job and are great to work with.

From our very first email exchange, Ashley was so incredibly helpful in my whole wedding planning process. She is so prompt to respond and patiently answered all my questions. When we decided to have our reception at my parents' home, she worked closely with us to make sure we had enough power and space to accommodate the band. Ashley and The Cosmos did a fantastic job MC-ing our big day and they kept the party going until the very last song! We had so many people tell us "I've never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding!" Ashley and her crew are pros at keeping the energy high and all the guests dancing all night long. They MADE the reception. Period. And, in addition to being beyond incredible entertainers, Ashley and The Cosmos' reception package is VERY reasonable. When all was said and done, it was the most bang for our buck in the entire wedding planning process. I would give Ashley and her crew ten stars if I could!

Ashley was very professional and easy to deal with before the wedding. They made the reception!! The songs they played were songs that people loved to dance to and they just kept them coming. I found Ashley and the Cosmos online and read all of their reviews and watched videos. I currently live in Europe so I had no way to meet them prior to the wedding or ever see them perform live. I can honestly say that they were better than I even thought from the videos I'd seen. Our wedding was a bit thrown together as it was planned in 2 weeks while we were in the USA, and they stayed calm and helped me out by always answering questions and giving me some lists to fill out that helped me pull my schedule together. They are an incredibly talented group. If you are thinking of using them, do it...and then stop worrying about it after that. They'll be the least of your worries!

My husband and I wanted a live band for our wedding. After some searching around, we set up a meeting with Ashley and already enjoyed working with her. The live band really changed the atmosphere of the wedding. They were engaging and most of the guests we spoke to after the wedding, raved about the band. They played songs that we wanted and threw some other songs into the mix. Most of the guests were up and dancing. They worked with us on the package and made sure we got what we wanted. I would recommend this band to anyone. They will not be let down.

Ashley & Co were absolutely amazing at our wedding!!!! I work in the wedding industry as well, and I really wanted a live band instead the Dj route. I also got the opportunity to work with them at a wedding prior to ours, and told my wife that we definitely made the right choice. What makes them so great really starts with Ashley and her husband Tim. They are a great couple with amazing chemistry that really shows in the songs they sing. Taking singing to another level with high energy, and animation brings everybody to the dance floor. Pair this power couple up with a flawless band, and you have true masters of their craft in their element. One of the first things people say to me when I ask how the wedding was is how awesome the band was. They mention everything else as well, but before they comment on the cake, or the ceremony it has always been how great the band was. But they don’t just leave it at yeah they were good. They say they were great, and then give multiple examples of what specifically made them so great. I highly recommend them to anybody wanting a live experience, and promise you it will make your wedding stand out amongst your friend’s weddings. Nobody remembers the Dj’s. Everybody remembers the band.

As my sister and I planned her wedding, the one thing she wanted was a great band. However, the reviews didn't even do them justice. They were AWESOME! Not only do they have a great repertoire of songs, but they are easy to work with, accommodating, and fun. They performed during the procession, ceremony, dinner, and reception. Ashley and her husband were flexible during the reception and made it simple for all the announcing and moving along the different activities. At the end of the night, everyone was on the dance floor. Overall, they were beyond wonderful.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We found Ashley and the Cosmos on the Knot and glad we booked ahead! Not only did they have all the guests dancing the night away but Ashley was incredibly easy to work with from the first day we contacted her about playing at our wedding. She made planning the night so stress free and was very easy to get in contact with. Her and her husband were a dynamic team at the reception and made everything flow perfectly. At the wedding they directed the flow, provided all the sound equipment, and changed the song list based on our guests. They were the cherry on top of the perfect day and I can not be more thankful to Ashley & the Cosmos for make our night unforgettable!

I had found Ashley and the Cosmos through the knot when I began looking for a band for our wedding. After reading reviews and watching their videos I knew they were perfect for my wedding! I live in Dayton, Ohio and was a little worried, since they were in Indiana, about us meeting up and being able to go over things. Ashley and Tim were amazing, they met up with us and really put my mind at ease about how the day would play out. She kept in constant communication and made sure to get all the key details to make our day perfect. When the big day was finally here, words cannot even describe how fantastic they were. The music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was beautiful. Then it was off to the reception and prior we had a touch base about all the details and pronunciations for our bridal party/family. They introduced everyone flawlessly and let me tell you we had some tough names! :) their performance was more than amazing! I cannot even begin to say how many compliments we got on them. there was never a time when the dance floor was not filled! They also put my mind at ease with guiding us through the evening and keeping everything on track. If you are wanting to have a blast at your wedding you HAVE to book Ashley and the Cosmos!!!! :)

This was one of the earliest vendors we booked and we are so glad that we scooped Ashley and the Cosmos up for our wedding, as they are booked far out for weddings. From early on, when we went to see them perform at a local bar, it was easy to see that they LOVE what they do. This translated into an easy and fun experience with this band. When we met with them a few days before the ceremony, we really didn't have much of a game plan of an order of events. Ashley knew exactly what to do and gave a lot of great guidance. Their communication was perfect. When it came to the event itself, I cannot even begin to describe the sheer BRILLIANCE of this band. Everything went off without a hitch during the beginning of the reception - they kept our very big wedding party on a timely schedule and made sure that everyone was where they needed to be, when they needed to be there. They guided us through a fun Shoe Game and initiated the dances exactly when we wanted. On a whim a few months before the wedding, I asked Ashley if she could string together a medley of songs for a surprise father-daughter dance, and what she came up with was pure magic! My dad and I were able to choreograph an amazing dance to their music - check it out on their Facebook page! When we met with the band a few days before the wedding, we asked if the song my husband and I were going to dance to was hard to learn - Ashley shared that they hadn't practiced it yet....when they played it at the wedding, it was performed PERFECTLY. You know you are working with talented musicians when they can learn a new song and play it flawlessly in a matter of a few days. Throughout the entire evening, my husband and I were both approached several times per hour by family and friends, bartenders, and other vendors, of all ages saying how amazing this band was. EVERYONE was out on the dance floor. They kept the energy level up to a 10, and as I mentioned earlier in this review, you could tell that they genuinely loved being up there and performing - they were having so much fun. The band made our wedding what it was. I am so thankful that we found this band early on. They were SO easy to work with, SO entertaining, and just made the evening what it was!!! BOOK THIS BAND. Book this band before anything else! When you are planning your wedding, you want to find vendors that LOVE what they do. Ashley and the Cosmos are exactly that.

She worked closely with the photographer so the entire even ran smoothly and everyone got what they needed. The entire band has so much energy and knows how to work a crowd. I attended a wedding on 04/11/2015. Ashley & the Cosmos were booked to play for their reception. The band did an amazing job and the song list was excellent. Guests were up dancing during the entire time they performed, from the very first song on. This band is very professional and talented. If you are looking for a band to book for your wedding, I highly recommend Ashley and the Cosmos.

Ashley and the Cosmos were, to put it simply, the best! My now husband and I live in Boston but we're getting married in cincinnati so we did not have the chance to hear the band live and were only able to meet Ashley and Tim one time before our wedding. They were so great to work with and eased our nerves from 1,000 miles away! We listened to their YouTube and thought they were great but they exceeded our exceptions when we first heard them at the reception! Many of our family members and friends said that it was the best wedding reception they have ever been to... and we agree! Ashley and the Cosmos were the most fun and took our reception to the next level! It was awesome!

My husband said repeatedly throughout the night that he kept forgetting a live band was playing because they were SO spot on. Ashley and the Cosmos was a fun, energetic band and they really know how to read a crowd. There were people dancing CONSTANTLY. She (and the other members of the band) were very professional throughout the entire process. The band kept everything moving along according to the time table that we created together. Ashley and the Cosmos were organized, professional, nice, and played better than we ever imagined. They started by sending us a questionnaire going over all the important details of our wedding. They wanted to know the schedule, the other vendors, what we wanted them to say, peoples names, how to pronounce them, etc. They gave us helpful suggestions about what we could do to make everyone at the wedding have a good time. We met face-to-face a few weeks before the wedding where they explained everything they would do and asked us everything they needed to be prepared. It was easy to tell they would never show up for a wedding and have to ask a lot of questions on the wedding day or not know the plan. They arrived and set up with no questions or hassle. It was hard to tell they were even there before the ceremony because they did such a good job of keeping out of the way while setting up. Their guitar player played before our ceremony and they did the PA for the Ceremony, which sounded perfect. We were outdoors under a tent. During the reception, they did all the announcing, they collected people and took control for grand entrance, and it went great. They were always on-time announcements and said exactly the right thing without taking over the party. They even kept aware of things like cake-cutting, and checked with the caterer so they make sure we stayed on schedule and didn't miss anything. They had wireless microphones for toasts. When it was finally time for dancing, we were incredibly impressed. They learned some songs that we specifically requested, and did a great job with them. They did such a good job with sound setup that they sounded as clear as day. Ashley is such a great singer, and the band is perfect. They covered everything from Aretha Franklin to AC-DC and it all sounded perfect. We had dozens of guests asking how we found this band because they couldn't believe a wedding band could play so well with so many different types of songs. And the best part is that they knew exactly what songs and what order to play so that the dance floor was always full. They played for about 4 hours (with a short break), and at the end of the night, there were still people on the dance floor wishing they didn't have to leave. We even got a bit behind schedule, so we weren't ready for the band to start until about 45 minutes after we planned. But they still played for 4 hours from when they started, not 4 hours from the planned start time, meaning they were willing to stay later than planned to give us their full performance. If we would get married again, we wouldn't call anyone else to be our wedding band. Ashley and the Cosmos were perfect.

We live in Chicago and planned our wedding in Culver, IN. We found Ashley and The Cosmos through the knot and couldn't be more happy!! We lucked out by being able to book them and see them live in Indianapolis when we were visiting friends. They are incredibly talented but more than that they are truly professional. They ensured everything was on plan through our reception and kept our guests on the dance floor PAST the last song. We honestly couldn't be more happy with Ashley and The Cosmos! My husband and I booked Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos for our wedding reception that took place about 3 weeks ago. They were everything we were hoping for to make our reception a night to remember. They had us fill out a form giving them specific songs that we wanted for our first dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, etc. They provided all the dinner music and did all of the emcee as well. They did a great job at moving the night along. As a busy bride, it was great to just relax and enjoy myself at the reception.

We had so many people approach us throughout the night and even after the event asking about the band. Everyone loved them! Ashley is phenomenal to work with. The entire band just did an amazing job. While in the beginning stages of wedding planning almost a year before "Our Big Day"- I told my family/fiancé that I wanted a live band. My father was hesitant at first, thinking they would only be able to play one type of music all night and not appeal to everyone. As the Mother of the Groom, I was excited to see the reception come to life at my son's wedding. And come to life it did! Ashley Wilcox and the Cosmos Band brought the crowd to their feet from the first note to the final call. I loved how they played to the crowd and the crowd responded by never leaving the dance floor. We never noticed they ever took a break they were that seamless. If I were to to plan a special event in the future(kids are all married now)this is one band I would book!

I recently was the planner at a wedding with this group. I must say that I have never worked with a more professional group of individuals then these. They allowed us to do our job as planners and decor. I also need to say that of the 15 years we have been doing this I have never seen a group rock a dance floor for 6 hours straight and keep it going the way they did. They also showed up 3 hours prior to the start time and had sound check done and dressed up for the wedding as well. Thanks for being great to work with and for being a true gem in the industry.

Finding a band was a big task. My family is known for it’s fun and great weddings so I knew I needed to deliver. I found Ashley and the Cosmos through “The Knot” and Joe and I scheduled a date to see them play. We sat down and loved their selections right away. Ashley took a break as soon as she could to say hello. Immediately her smile and sweet personality won me over. The band was extremely interactive with their audience and Joe and I even got up to dance a few songs! The next day she sent all of her paper work, song list and reception time-line sheet she uses when working with her clients. I was thrilled and loved how organized she was. I also explained some things I required like my father singing a few favorite songs and the occasional sister or brother asking for a tambourine. They were so accommodating. Ashley followed-up three times before the wedding to verify dates, times and songs. Joe and I made sure to see them play once more before the big day to see if their where any new songs we wanted them to play at our wedding. A good tip my sister told me was to always choose songs that people can sing to. I also met with her separately to go over the reception timeline. The band DJ’d the entrance, helped with toasts, managed dances, took a curve ball for an opening bridal party dance and let my dad sing the first song. The process was so smooth. Thank you! Through the night they kept getting better with all the song selections I didn’t want to leave to use the restroom! Everyone said it was the best wedding band they had ever seen and wished the night hadn’t ended. Ashley, I can’t thank you enough for all of your help and wish you and the band all the success!

Ashley and the Cosmos are INCREDIBLE! They are such a fun, talented, and energetic group of musicians. They played our wedding last month (May 2014) and were fantastic. I could not have been more pleased with their energy and performance. We had people on the dance floor ALL NIGHT as a result. Ashley and the band were amazing. They followed everything we wanted and kept the reception on time. Ashley is very down to earth but very professional as is the rest of the band. Compared to your typical DJ or even other bands they are above all the best and worth every penny. With that being said, they are very reasonable in prices. We even had them travel. Our wedding was unforgettable and they made it a party. I would highly recommend Ashley and the Cosmos to anyone looking to have an awesome wedding or party.

Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos are an amazing band. I am not exaggerating when I say they kept all of our guests, ages 80 to 3, on the dance floor all night. We couldn't have asked for a better sound or energy level. I cannot count how many times our guests (and the other vendors at the reception) commented on what a great dance party Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos created. They were absolutely fantastic. They are extremely professional and easy to work with as well. Ashley promptly responded to all of my questions and accommodated all of our wedding day requests. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an awesome reception. When our caterer got behind in serving the food, Ashely and the band stepped up and started serving salads. When I got a bit stressed about our catering fiasco, Ashley was calm and positive, reassuring me that everything would get back on track (which it did, thanks to the band stepping up and helping). When my dad thanked them at the end of reception, Ashely commented that their goal at weddings it to make sure the bride and groom have a great reception, and if that means helping serve salads, they were more than willing to help. Ashley and the Cosmos are not only a great band, but great people. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful band!! From the first contact, Ashley Wilcox was prompt and professional in our correspondence and gave us opportunity to view the band before by telling us about their upcoming performance dates in Indianapolis. However, the best part of this band was the performance. The sound and quality were impressive and literally had the majority of people out on the floor dancing for 3 hours straight. As a member of the older generation (50 plus), my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the music and found ourselves dancing a lot. Their rendition of the songs very much replicated the original artists. The bride (my daughter) and the groom were extremely happy with this band. This band made the reception a huge success and I cannot say enough superlatives about them. We are from Auburn, Indiana and hosted the wedding at the Allen County Courthouse in Fort Wayne. This facility has a large rotunda which can make the acoustics difficult. The band did not seem to have a problem with this and the sound was perfect. Again, we highly recommend this band for a wedding reception.

Days and weeks after our wedding, I am STILL getting compliment after compliment about Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos! Their playlist is comprehensive, up to date, and full of everyones favorites. But no worries, if what you want isn't on the list, they will learn it for you anyways!! Just ask. Ashley was incredibly thorough, but laid back and so easy to work with, such a pleasure planning with her. And during the wedding, I didn't have to worry about a thing. They were high energy, and their fun made it that much easier for everyone else to have fun too! You could definitely tell that they like what they do! Not to mention that they are ALL great, GREAT musicians!! I have recommended them to others already, and would not hesitate to recommend them to any and everyone else!! Having knockout entertainers at our wedding was the most important piece for us in our planning, and we sure hit a home run with Ashley Wilcox and The Cosmos!!!

Ashley and the Cosmos were incredible. Not only did they accommodate every little request I had, but they rolled with schedule changes the day of the event without batting an eye. We were out of state when booking the band, so they volunteered to do an hour long live audition for my parents and let us skype in. You don't get that type of service from just anyone. Not only that, but their music had people dancing on the dance floor and outside on the beach, and everyone complimented us on how well they did. They even got my grandma up and dancing not once, not twice but three times! For a woman with 2 really bad knees, that's impressive. Book this band!!

They were amazing!! I initially was panicked b/c my band bailed two months ahead of my wedding date! I found Ashley Wilcox and the Cosmos through gig salad website, which is also a helpful website. Ashley contacted me immediately and was by far, no questions asked, professional yet approachable from the initial contact. Ashley personally met me initially at my convenience (and she is a busy lady herself) and I lucked out grabbing their last Friday available two months ahead of our date! I had not heard them before but they have a really interactive website and some amazing you tube clips that don't do them justice. They sound even better live! About three weeks before the wedding they send you a reception guide and go over all the playmakers within the wedding party, songs. Etc. Ashley called and we spoke for over an hour discussing the playlist, etc. again just so personable and easy to work with, calls when she is suppose to and didn't make me feel silly for asking questions. I'm sure it's repetitious working with brides and I spoke with a couple other "professionals" in the business who really tried to rush my decision without me hearing them which pushed me the other way. Ashley showed confidence and was not pushy but not flaky! They were willing to learn a couple songs for us and rocked our last dance FRIENDS Theme song and some Cake!! But, they had enough material for all ages. We didn't want them To stop but they kicked us out not without everyone asking me for their name, cards, contact, etc. I can't wait to go see them play in public!! We feel So lucky and grateful that We hired them!!!

Ashley Wilcox and the Cosmos made our wedding reception a truly amazing event. They even got my 81 year old grandfather on the dance floor for several songs! Don't go with a DJ, don't go with another band, go with Ashley Wilcox and the Cosmos. They have the variety you want and the energy to keep the party going all night long.

Ashley and the guys (The COSMOS) were absolutely AMAZING, high energy, and they played all the right songs based on what our guests danced to! They got the party started and ended with a bang taking only a few minute break! Communication leading up to our wedding day was top-notch and our pre-wedding phone chat was effective. Quite opposite of normal dancy-receptions, we had MORE bodies on the dance floor as the night went on! Our wedding was just over a week ago and all of our guests continue to rave about what an energetic group the Cosmos were and how they carried the night. (Not to mention, they emceed our grand entrance, tastefully narrated our garter/bouquet toss and added such a splash of energy and personality to the evening!

She was always willing to work with me and the band...phenomenal. They played for 4 hours straight, no breaks. Their voices, out of this world. My parents danced to this band and my parents don't dance! This band was so good and I could not have been happier with my experience. Love, love, love them:)

Everyone was talking about how great of a job they did and was very impressed that they played all-night without taking a break! They were such a professional band, with great personalities. I would definitely recommend Ashely Wilcox and The Cosmos to any bride looking for another 'aw factor' for their big day. They also allowed me to choose 3 songs for them to learn at no cost (our first dance, the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance) ... AND THEY PERFECTED IT!!! My fiance (at the time) and parents went and saw the band play at Coach's (in Plainfield) one night before we knew we were going to ask them to play at our wedding and their performance there just blew us away. We knew right then that we wanted them to play at our wedding. They were full so energetic and sounded great. Ashley and the Cosmos were definitely a great addition to our wedding and I can not speak highly enough of their performance ... did I mention that they did not take a break all night!? The one thing that I have always wanted for my wedding was a good, live band and they made that come true with a very reasonable price :)

This band was awesome! They played nearly non-stop, the singers were all excellent, and everyone was up dancing. They did the introductions and the MCing which freed up the family to just enjoy themselves. This band was key to a wonderful reception!
