I truly wish I could relive this perfect day and I would highly recommend Emily as a coordinator or Ashton Gardens as a venue. My husband wanted a beer that was not on the menu and Ashton Gardens was so accommodating and understanding. They also thought of the littlest things- they had a few waiters come out while the wedding party was taking pictures and brought beers, wine and a ton of appetizers. We were really blown away with their thoughtfulness. Our family and friends were in absolute awe on our wedding night, everyone still talks about how beautiful this venue is. The food and drinks were delicious and the waiters, waitresses and bartender were amazing. I highly recommend this venue. It was my dream wedding for sure! Thanks so much for your help, Jazzmyne! :)

edible. All of our wedding guests were very impressed! The timeliness of the night could have been better. While we made sure to start on time and leave when agreed upon with the venue, they did not do a good job managing the timeline we had agreed on. This was something I shared was very important to me and I ended up having to step in myself throughout the night. Overall it was a great day and I would still highly recommend Ashton Gardens.

of the wedding celebration, our coordinator Emily was engaging, pleasant and professional. My daughter lives in Atlanta and my family lives in Houston TX. Most of the planning was made by daughter with my input based on Emily’s emails which were very detailed. My husband & I paid for the wedding as a gift to our daughter, so we absolutely wanted to make sure that we were getting exactly what we were paying for. This wedding was a serious labor of love and we wanted our daughter to be able to bask in the memories of a beautiful wedding – as perfect of a day as possible and it was! Because of Emily, not one decision or planned detail fell through the cracks! She was on top on everything from (1) directing & instructing everyone at the rehearsal the day before the wedding to (2) addressing multiple questions prior to the ceremony on the day of the wedding, (3) timely planned execution of the ceremony (4) coordination of the serving staff for the reception & after party. Throughout every phase of the wedding celebration, Emily was present, calm, smiling, confident, ensuring that we were pleased with the services. Excellent customer service is PARAMOUNT to me! I believe that if I must make this statement upfront then the service that I will receive is not authentic. With Emily Moore, it appears that "Excellent Customer Service” is the norm for her, a part of the culture, authentic, the real thing! What an asset you have in her - someone who cares enough about the dreams and wishes of brides and their families to help make them come true, a reality!

ina has been with us, she has been an exemplary team member, living up to the our high standards, receiving dozens of outstanding guest reviews. We host many guests each year, and, in those occasions when we make a mistake, we immediately do whatever it takes to fix a problem and ensure our guests are completely happy. We also come to the defense of our staff when we believe he or she is in the right. The reviewer did call and speak with our sales representative, his account of events are inaccurate. Our sales associate reported that the reviewer became aggressive during the phone conversation. While trying to present an expired coupon, which we happily agreed to honor, the reviewer asked multiple questions, very quickly, and repeatedly cut off our sales associate during her responses. After being told to “stop talking”, she allowed the reviewer to continue and was yelled at because of her silence. As he made ill-mannered remarks, we maintained a professional disposition throughout the call. Even after the exchange, we granted him and his fiancé a tour of our facility in hopes to get a better understanding of his needs. While on property, he hinted at racism by our sales associate. This accusation is very offensive and we are most proud of the diversity in our company and are whole heartedly color blind to all guests who visit our venue…everyone is welcome at Ashton Gardens! Because of this experience, we respectfully declined to book the event, and support for our staff (when deserved) outweighs the need to book a piece business and we will continue to run our business with respect, love and transparency.

brought us appetizers and drinks while we were finishing photos, as well as always made sure we had what we needed throughout the night--such a nice touch! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and fit the number of people we had very comfortably. The food is also amazing- we had a macaroni and cheese bar which all of our guests loved! My biggest complaint with Ashton Gardens is that they are cramming way too many weddings into one weekend. There were 4 other weddings, not including my own, the same weekend. So while we were rehearsing for my wedding, there was a bride and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite. Also I was delayed on what time I could even arrive to the venue to get ready because there was another wedding going on. When there are so many moving parts for so many different weddings, it definitely made me feel more like a number to them than I ever should have felt on my wedding weekend. Overall we had a great experience, but be aware that there could be several other weddings going on around yours!

I am very disappointed about the unprofessional manner the staff at Ashton Gardens displayed at my daughter's wedding most recently and if I could give a negative star rating I would. First of all, we met with Bri Hampton on several occasion...

s, (maybe 5 or 6 times) and we did not get a full detailed explanation of the fees upfront. We were told we have to order a certain amount of food from them... 6k worth. The soft drinks are $7 per person and price per plate was not discussed upfront. BEWARE-There are hidden fees that are not disclosed upfront. Anything that is promised verbally does not count so "Carefully read the Whole Contract". We did the tasting and the food was great however they did not provide the same quality of food the day of the wedding...Huge problem because we were promised the food would be cooked fresh. The chef assured us that the food will be exactly how it was at the tasting appointment however; the day of the wedding the chicken was dry and did not taste at all like we expected, it was different than what we tried at the tasting appointment...no sauce ,and it looked like it was breaded with dry cheese on top. The roasted potatoes were super small and some were not cooked all the way. The salad was wilted and some of the tables did not get any dinner rolls at all. The vegetarian dishes had burnt Portabella mushrooms. There were not enough servers for the amount of tables we had and we had to chase them around to ask for things. They kept taking the food away without asking if we were done. Not everyone got a champagne toast and we were rushed around by our coordinator Jasmine. The servers lack skills and need training because we expected great service but unfortunately got bad service. After the wedding we found out from other people that used this venue that similar problems occurred at their wedding. If you don't care about the money you are willing to spend for a wedding only to be ruined by the unprofessional manner of the staff at this venue, I encourage you to stay away from this place. The only good thing about Ashton Gardens it's the appearance of the place but that alone will not make up for the rest of the issues we experienced. We are seeking legal help. The wedding day should be something memorable and not ruined by the uncaring of the venue's staff. It's unacceptable and we will not be able to change anything now. It's done and ruined forever.

tart to finish for this event specifically. First, the most important detail we would like to address is the transparency in all of our contract agreements. It is our hope that when entering into a contract agreement that the host, the person signing and financially responsible for the agreement on each contract, reads the document in its entirety as you would any other agreement and asks questions as necessary. We are happy to clarify any points that aren’t well defined and make sure the host understands each and every detail from start to finish. Not only do we explain service charge, sales tax and our food minimums but these charges are clearly printed on the first and second page of our agreement. We do our best to lead our couples through a clear and concise planning process, one of which is heavily centered on the food we provide. Menus can be customized at any time and we take extreme care in helping our couples understand why menu prices change based on items selected. It was our understanding, based on the overwhelming thanks given at the planning meeting, that there was at the very least, an awareness and discernment of why the custom menu options yielded a new menu price point. In regards to you menu selections the day of the event, had we known there was an issue with any of the cuisine, we would have happily addressed them while all parties were on site. It should be said that we received nothing but compliments from your guests about menu served. We actually even accommodated a protein option at a lower price point than what we would normally price due to ingredients, labor, etc. Also, the vegetarian option served was our Grilled Portobello Napoleon. This particular dish is grilled over an open fire which gives the mushrooms black “grill markings” however the mushrooms were not burnt. All of the vegetarian dishes were consumed by the guests and there were no complaints to our staff that the dish was anything other than wonderful. It’s also important to note that our “Non-alcoholic Beverage Package” is an additional charge of $7/pp as this is a separate station with a designated server. This is explained in our menus as well during the initial tour. All of our menus include Iced Tea, Iced Water, Gourmet Coffee and Hot tea station, and a champagne toast. In response to the champagne, several of the guests were not only offended that we offered them champagne, but were rude to our staff in return. It is our standard to serve/ offer all guests champagne that are seated. Since champagne is an alcoholic option, if a guest isn’t seated during the champagne service, we are unable to verify age and in return, that place setting will not be served. We would have been more than happy to fill guest glasses upon request once they were seated. Finally, it is our standard for our event coordinators to follow a timeline that is approved by the host. If the event falls behind, we inform the host and ask permission before taking it upon ourselves to move forward to the next scheduled event at the reception. We do our best to keep the group on time so there is sufficient timing our couples to dance and spend time with their guests. We hope that any additional concerns or questions will be directed directly to our sales and planning staff.

ANOTHER WEDDING WAS SETTING UP DURING MY WEDDING. As strict as Ashton was on when I could arrive to set up and when I needed to be gone, I was honestly not expecting them to allow another bride to enter the venue and begin setting her own wedding up before I even arrived for my own! When I got to the venue, there were two large delivery trucks pulled up to the venue delivering flowers for the next wedding. I had to walk across the parking lot in the cold rain in full hair and makeup (thankfully not in my dress yet!) because the trucks were blocking the covered entrance. I was told that my guests would be allowed to take the hallway from the chapel to our ballroom if it rained. Well apparently not because the property manager BLOCKED OFF THE HALLWAY and made my guests walk AROUND THE BUILDING IN THE RAIN so that the wedding could continue setting up in the ballroom next to us. They continued to set up their wedding throughout my entire event and the manager even snapped at my mother for attempting to use the hallway they blocked off from us to get to the chapel so she wouldn't have to walk in the rain in her silk dress and finished hair! As I was packing up my dress (within my time frame to leave the venue), people were knocking on the door wanting access to the bridal suite. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable to me. Not only did we pay for our time slot, we booked before this night wedding and they were somehow allowed to utilize our time and space during our wedding. 2. My centerpieces were wrong. It states in our documents that I requested the hurricane vases with red petals and no mirrors. I was clear about this throughout our planning process. Our decorations were simple with no room for miscommunication. Instead I got hurricane vases with no petals and mirrors underneath. 3. Half of my guests did not receive champagne for the champagne toasts. 4. Our families were not directed to sit at the two tables nearest to us that were reserved for them. My husbands family ended up sitting in the back of the ballroom. All in all, I felt disrespected and unappreciated for the money we dropped on this wedding. We had a great wedding because we are happy together no matter what, but if I knew that Ashton would allow another event to set up during my wedding I never would have signed a contract with them. If you don't mind having your own event pushed aside for another, your wedding will be perfect.

import, 2 craft beers, premium spirits, wine and 2 custom cocktails. Being the parents of the bride, my husband, kids and I were asked to stay behind for photos immediately following the chapel ceremony while the cocktail hour took place. After our photos, we went in to enjoy some of the passed appetizers only to find that they were all gone. We had none! (The bridal party who were still finishing pictures did receive a drink and a few appetizers which were brought out to them). The only thing left was some of the fruit from the fruit and cheese platter we had added. We then stood in line to be announced with the wedding party only to find a huge long line of people waiting to get drinks. There was only one bar tender and a huge line of people waiting for a long time. The people in line were asked to have a seat while the wedding party was announced and entered, so the bar shut down during this. We agreed to have it closed for the first half hour of dinner but the total time between the announcement of the wedding party and the start of dinner was in excess of 45 minutes. As we were standing in line to be announced, my husband and I noticed that the bar looked scant and there were no import or craft beers being offered and we spoke to the bar tender and told her we had paid for a premium open bar. She went to check her paperwork and saw that we were correct and she did get out the correct items for the remainder of our open bar but the first hour and 15 minutes, the bar was only serving the base package. I was also getting comments from many of the guests that the bar was only pouring "tastings" 1 -1/2 to 2 inches of wine etc in the glass and guests literally thought they were being given a sample but they were told that was the pour. It was a bit embarrassing. The bride and groom's signature cocktails were suppose to be labeled ( his and her's) but weren't and people did not know there were signature drinks until we told them. I will say that when I did speak to the wedding coordinator about the long lines and only one bar tender and very small pours, she did immediately got another person to help at the bar and the pours did improve some, although they then seemed to water down the "OldFashion" and "Always and Forever" signature drinks with more juice and simple syrup. The food was excellent, however, some guests waited for everyone to go through the line before trying a bit more only to see the buffet being torn down immediately following the last table getting theirs. The bride and groom exited to sparklers and immediately following their exit, I went in to gather some of my things and the tables and flowers were already being dismantled. Many guests never got back to their tables to get their favors. All in all, the venue was beautiful, the food was delicious but the service (bar especially) could be improved and a little less rushed. Make sure you check to see if you are getting what you paid for.

In regards to the hors d’ oeuvres, we do our very best to ensure all guests, especially the family, have an opportunity to enjoy the food. We send any hors d’ oeuvres selections to the chapel especially for guests that were asked to stay behind for photos. If those platters run out, we even try to run another order to the chapel. In this case, had we been made aware that some guests didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hors d’ oeuvres, we would have been happy to bring additional platters or even a personal plate to the table. Bars are another portion of our service that is extremely important to us. We provide bartenders based on guest count but always make floaters available for any potential backups. In this case, we put an additional bartender behind the bar, free of charge, as soon as we could. All of the drink selections we presented on a bar sign, including the signature cocktails. Based our notes, we didn’t close the bar until 7:35 instead of 7:30 in an attempt to give guests a couple extra minutes at the bar since it was congested. Our staff and surveillance cameras also confirmed that the bar was only closed for 25 minutes. Next, our timelines are executed exactly unless requested otherwise. Per the BEO, our food service runs for an hour. In this case, the buffet began at 7:39p and ended at 8:40. We would have gladly kept the buffet opened a little longer had the request been given. Finally, just as all vendors start to break down once guests have exited, our staff begins the same process. Guests are always allowed back in the room to grab personal items and favors. In the event the guests choose not to take their favor, anything left over is packed up and sent with the host. We truly appreciate your review and hope that any additional concerns are shared with our team directly. Thank you again!

Other pluses: *VERY spacious bridal suite that allowed more than enough room for myself, 6 bridesmaids, MOB, MOG, honorary bridesmaid, Man of Honor, videographer, and photographer to really let loose *ceremony space is breathtaking *reception food A+. And when I was heartbroken about only having one coconut crusted shrimp (they were passed during family pictures), I was given my own platter. THAT DID NOT GO UNNOTICED, UNSUNG HERO. *Joelle has just been my fairy god planner during this whole process and put up with so much with a smile. She is so genuine and sweet and detail oriented. I honestly was able to not stress and truly enjoy the day because I knew Joelle was so capable. *The staff is so accommodating and organized, especially with set-up. *Honestly, this venue is just worth every penny. The Chapel is stunning with the glass walls, high ceilings and wood paneling. The ball room is also gorgeous! We loved the wood floors, the stair case, and the chandeliers! The service we received on our wedding day was UNACCEPTABLE. When looking for a venue, AG's reviews were great & we picked it, even though this venue was a 3 hour drive from home. During the planning process my coordinator made me feel assured....

She promptly responded to emails and even stated that I was "one of the most organized brides she'd ever worked with". This made me feel good, and I assumed between their professionalism and my organization our wedding day would go off without a hitch. I was WRONG. It started by the venue not even knowing how to work their own sound equipment, mind you I paid an extra $75 for a "music coordinator" from AG to do our ceremony music, my bridesmaid had to show them how to use it. I had guided instructions for our ceremony music. When it was time, the coordinator started sending my couples down the isle with no music, and when it did start it was barely audible and muffled. When it came time for the unity candle we picked a worship song for our guests to sing along to with us to really welcome God's presence into our ceremony. The coordinator herself took over the music at this point, and even with the bold printed, underlined instructions right there with the play button, she played our song for 4 seconds and then turned it off. Which left my groom, the preacher and myself staring blankly to the back of the chapel assuming she would get the hint to continue playing it but that didn't happen so I had to tell our officiant to proceed. Cut to the end of the night (after the stingy app. passing, cold food, and delayed cake cutting) we had a staged sparkler sendoff that was announced by the DJ. When I reentered the ballroom, I looked up to see my centerpieces being taken apart, chairs stacked, staff throwing things away and table clothes removed. It was 9:30. I paid for the venue until 10:00pm. Their apology for everything?...a $100 gift card.. DON'T WASTE THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF YOUR LIFE W/ A VENUE & STAFF THAT DOESN'T VALUE YOU.

ur budget while still being incredibly elegant. All the staff were so welcoming and kind. When we finished pictures and wanted to enter the reception earlier than planned, everyone accomodated for us (even getting the food out faster). Then, when we wanted to do our exit earlier, everyone accomodated for us again. Ashton Gardens allowed us to bring as much decor as we wanted, and they set it all up for us (I found that was incredibly rare for a venue...most venues require you torent all their decor or atleast set anything up yourself). They allowed us to put our own touches everwhere. Accomodating is an understatement for this venue!

nd we've since been to Charleston. As a Bride I had Two Goals for my wedding day; Be Present at my Wedding and Feel Normal. No Special Plate or Alterations. Didn't want to hear the words "We're sorry? Just Don't Eat the... We can Take out." The staff listened to my long list of dangerous and deadly allergies and said no problem. They then passed this on to the Chiefs. In fact, Ashton Gardens (in GA) was so confident we were worried they didn't understand. Boy were we wrong, Talk about Experience and Talent in the kitchen. By the food tasting we were bursting with excitement and mischief for our guest and family to watch me eat. Cream of Broccoli, Oven Roasted Salmon, Potato Bar, Sage Rubbed Chicken. Anyone with food allergies knows a selection like this has its challenges and pitfalls. Ashton Gardens won the Gold everything was full of flavor and vibrancy. My guest six months later still talk about our wedding. We got Married October 12th 2017. Every time I look back at my photos I tear up. Ashton Gardens in my eyes was the most beautiful venue I looked at and I thought the furthest from reach. It turned out to be Very Affordable and we stayed in budget thanks to their options. Their Coordinators are not just cue pointers. They handle the drama, the family, your gitters, and your questions no matter how many or long. My coordinator, Christina surprised us as well. Even though she said she would be there with me that day. After meeting other coordinators at venues I just couldn’t fathom how, there she’d be. My coordinator decorated for us. Seriously, we bought our items brought them to the venue and she laid them out alongside my family. Nothing over the top so please don’t prepare for them to interior design but as she said, ‘tell me where you want xyz and it will be there for you.” It was it looked beautiful and was arranged just like we’d prepped with her . My mom took a Cameo, but the real proof is in the professionalism and service. We were totally taken care of that day by a company that truly knows how important a day that can't be redone or re shot is. If you're looking for something that feels like a church sanctuary, that's wrapped in beauty; accessible for your older family and friends and comfortable for them… If you’re looking for that outside feeling but don’t want the chance of rain relocating you, We personally felt that the venue’s design gave us this. Even if you don’t have a huge budge because ours was small budget. If you’re searching for something close to what we were searching for , You will Wiggle, Giggle, and Squeal like I did when my fiancé now Husband said, “Let’s do it, Let’s get Married Here." Celita, Christina, Bri thank you for every meeting, email, photograph. Mo I will never forget you! To the Staff and Kitchen, You’re Awesome. Any concerns or questions that I had, the staff was quick to answer and resolve any issues. Ashton Gardens truly made my wedding dreams come true! ful. She kept me on schedule to make sure that I didn't miss any special moments. I was so disappointed in my florist/wedding planner however, the beautiful venue speaks for itself. Thankfully no one could tell there were flaws except for those that were apart of the planning. My guest raved about the place for weeks after the wedding. Thank you for making our day special!
