To say that I am disappointed in my experience with A Tent for Rent is an understatement. AJ and his team came recommended as a 'preferred vendor' of my venue, given their extensive prior experience tenting weddings there. I signed a contract in March 2021 and was thrilled to have secured a beautiful sailcloth tent for our wedding. One year later, I received a new contract to sign with a 34% price increase over our original contract, with AJ citing an "off hours installation fee" required for our venue, despite him having worked there numerous times and this never having been charged previously. Our venue has always required a weekend installation--including morning of installation and next day removal--, a fact known to AJ at the time of our initial rental quote. While the contract stated that "if weekend work is required, additional fees will apply", this fee, despite its known guarantee for our venue, was left out of our original quote. If this had been transparently included upfront in the original quote, thus making the price ~$3000 higher, we likely would have pursued an alternative vendor. Left without any options, and only three months out from our wedding, I was forced to sign a new contract, and AJ refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing. The dishonesty, disorganization, and lack of professionalism couldn't be more glaring. I explicitly do not recommend AJ and A Tent for Rent.

AJ and the Atent for Rent team were great to work with! AJ was responsive, thorough, and helped us navigate the many changes we made to our tent and setup over the course of planning our wedding. We aren't sure what we would have done without him! The tent looked beautiful and everything was exactly how we wanted it to be.

We ended up getting some walls especially made for the venue we used at Endicott Estate from Atent for Rent. Alisha was more than accommodating through the whole process. We were on the fence with using any tenting/walls for the venue as we were expecting a beautiful May afternoon/night but the weather had been chaotic for about 2 weeks. We decided to use the walls just in case and it ended up working perfectly. The point of this was really that the service there was stellar, they were very patient and really helped deal with our erratic concerns. Atent for Rent was wonderful to work with. Thank you so much!!!

Atent for Rent provided the tent, tables, chairs, bistro lighting, dance floor, and linens for my outdoor bbq wedding on 8/4/18 at the Thayer Homestead in Medway, MA. From the beginning, Atent for Rent was incredibly responsive and helpful. They were super flexible when we needed to add some extra chairs and a table close to our wedding date. They also showed up promptly to install everything! We LOVED the look of the bistro lights under the tent, it made the tent look magical! I would definitely recommend Atent for Rent for your wedding or any event!

Kathy and her team at A Tent For Rent were so incredibly helpful every aspect of our wedding day. From putting up with my indecisiveness, and order changing, to setting up early so we could have a stress free wedding day! They're all incredibly professional and always easy to reach with questions or concerns. Very knowledgeable, and honest. They even went as far as setting heat up in the tent the day of the wedding because of the hurricane! We couldn't be happier with our experience and we know where to go for party rentals from here on out! If you need to rent a tent-tables-chairs for your wedding they're the best option! Being a very inexperienced event planner they were so helpful every step of the way. We can't thank them enough!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Atent for Rent! We rented a tent, tables, chairs, tablecloths to accommodate 100 people in our yard for an engagement party for our son. Everything was great quality, clean and in great shape. Setup was on time and smooth as can be, and Kathy P made sure a special scheduling request we made was honored. Pick up was also on time and smooth as can be. I had done the do-it-yourself route with a graduation, and had a bad experience. I thought using a big company to ensure quality would be cost-prohibitive, but Atent for Rent was very reasonable and worked with us to stay within our budget. Very highly recommend them.

We loved our wedding day and were thrilled with all the vendors with whom we worked, but we can say hands-down that A Tent for Rent was the most important choice we made for our backyard wedding at my parents' home. We had envisioned a clear-top tent strung with bistro lights, and AJ and his team executed that vision more beautifully than we could have imagined. Moreover, working with AJ was an absolute delight -- he was attentive, listened well, and was pleasant with every phone call we made (and we made a LOT). We wanted to make sure we had the tent setup exactly right, because the tent *was* our rain plan, and it could not have been more perfect. AJ offered advice on everything from including a carpeted floor (a great decision that added to guests' comfort) to arranging the tables to deciding how best to keep the temperature moderate inside the tent. On our wedding night, he even noticed that the area near the restroom trailer was too dark, and he added a light unasked. It was that kind of attention to detail that defined our experience working with A Tent for Rent. The team came on Wednesday to set up for our Saturday wedding, and they were so hard-working and pleasant. If we ever host an event where we need a tent again, we know who we'll be calling!

Atent for Rent did such a great job for our wedding! They were so great during the planning process - making themselves available to meet us at the venue of our wedding ceremony to help us layout the tent and choose the perfect size. Then they executed the plan perfectly and right on time. The tent was set up the morning of our rehearsal just as promised and we did not have to worry about a thing. Also, since it was for our wedding we requested them to put aside a tent that was clean and relatively new and they did just that! The tent was perfect for a warm summer day and we could not have been happier with the way everything turned out.

I was so pleased with the services provided by Atent for Rent! I had contacted about 10 other companies trying to find the style of lighting I wanted (string bistro lights) and was told that no companies provide these lights anymore because they are too difficult to set up and break easily. Fortunately, I was put in contact with AJ from Atent for Rent who had both the perfect style tent, lighting, and dance floor that we were looking for! AJ was great to work with- answered all my questions and multiple phone calls/ emails. He came to CT and did a site visit to ensure that the lawn at our venue was adequate, then sent several diagrams with lay-out options. AJ and the other staff were incredibly supportive when we were forced to make last minute decisions about rain protection. Our tent, lights, and dance floor looked perfect! I am so pleased we used this company and highly recommend them! My only recommendation to future brides is to ask the company to bring extra dance floor squares in case you decide last minute that you'd like it to be larger.

Atent for rent was one of the most professional companies we had on our wedding vendor team. From the very beginning they were wonderful. They answered all our questions and concerns before the big day plus the week of our wedding were stellar. They installed the sail cloth tent and provided some lighting around the tent on the porch a couple days before the day. The tent was so beautiful. We also realized during installation we needed more power thanks to their expert team. They helped us get some generators and delivered them the next day. These guys are smart and work hard. I can’t recommend this company enough!

We got a sailcloth tent from Atent for Rent. They provided diagrams of tables and how the tent would be set up. They were professional and handled communications with our venue and the tent was gorgeous. We had string lights and two floods, which illuminated the tent and made it glow in the night. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a tent in MA!

A tent for rent provide the tent for our wedding reception in our backyard, as well as the tables and chairs. There team was very helpful and accommodating. At the last minute we needed some extra space and they made sure everything arrived on time. It was a challenging space, but they figured out how to fit the tent in and everything looked great.
